What find interesting are the parallels between Ultima and Hyne from Final Fantasy VIII. Both are "gods" that created humanity for specific purposes and then slept while humanity grew past their initial purpose. In fact, this game coukd easiky be a prequel to FFVIII. It only takes a couple of name changes.
