Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Titan Fight - This summon/combat simulator boss can be tough but the mechanics are actually quite simple when you use the skills in this video.
Titan isn't very mobile, you can pressure him quite easily with well timed blocks and dodges which then allow you to stagger him. I use Cloud for DPS, Tifa to buff with Unbridled Strength and Aerith as support. The Materia setup for the fight is at the end of the video.

Just wanted to give you an update. Aerith's Planet's Protection does not immune you from Titan's Earthen Fury as I have tried it multiple times and it still hits. So you're better off going for Healing Wind.

I beat it Full might on easy but it was so damn hard I was only doing 1 to 2 damage per hit. I only scored 150dmg when staggered. Took 14min level 18 still original new game gear.

Defeated him in my first playthrough on dynamic full might, with a group that just left Kalm for the first time. That was nice and challenging, I liked it. There is no better way to learn the system.

Yeah definitely, there are a lot of points in the game where you really need to think about your approach. Finding that especially on hard mode now. Although I really need to try the Brutal and Legendary fights 😵

@@TheGameFatherUK Yeah I did this with a lot of difficulty too - literally no sonic boom, and no counterfire for Cloud... I found using ranged blade with Red 7 worked a charm because it would add pressure to him. Also perfect timing blocks made a huge difference. Having Barret to perform iron defence to pull them out of harms way also worked a treat.

How do you bring the shield down? Is it just a case of attacking with normal attacks? I’ve been using limits, synergy abilities and braver. Also countering with punisher mode seems to help. But those counters need to be ON POINT! I actually just met Chad so I’m on a lower lever than you are on the video and have barely anything 🤣, maybe I should just keep playing the game then come back, but this is a great way to get to grips with the combat system and flow of gameplay, even if I am losing a lot!

The shield reduces both physical and magic damage, so you just have to power through it using your best hitting abilities and spells. Depending on how far you are into the game, you can link repeated materia to good effect. For example, you can have multiple different wind materia linked to multiple blue materia such as Magic Focus, MP Absorb and Swiftcast. Then, all your Aeorga spells benefit from all the linked blue matera with the different winds.

Thanks, I just beat him today! I mained Cloud and spammed Braver once the shield was up as well as using Punisher mode’s perfect parry counter!!! Absolutely loving this game!!!!
