Yo that caught my attention immediately lol. I still listen to the soundtrack all the time. Cant remember shit about the story but damn was it's music amazing
I'm curious if they are gonna post builds, but from what I can tell are you running: Cloud: Hardedge: Time, Barrier, HP Upx2(High HP with Hardedge), First Strike(Starting gauge), Steadfast Block (Watch first block) Chain Bangle: ATB boost (Bottom of Shortcut menu) for sure, but no idea on any other ones. Presumably Luck Up x2 and one other. Maybe Deadly Dodge? Götterdämerung idk if transference would be recommended before this due to ATB gauge filling Limit. Aerith: Mythril Rod: Fire, Healing, MP up x2(High MP with Mythril), HP up x2(High HP with Mythril). Cog Bangle? Pray(Briefly see it when they do a ray of judgement), and I'm assuming Magic Up x2 To cap it off because she hits like a truck. Fury Ring: She begins every fight with berserk Icon Barret - Big Bertha: Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, Healing, Time, HP up (Just need one to cap Barret). - Astral Cuff or Iron Maiden?: Barret has no extra abilities that I could tell so his remaining is likely stats from an accessory (I didn't see playing around ATB stagger, ATB assist, steadfast, or deadly, etc.) - Crescent Moon Charm or a DPS accessory?
@@jawdahn Berserk in this game is simply more damage taken and more damage dealt; there shouldn't be any change in abilities or spells to cast. What I'm not sure about, tho, is whether the berserk increases cure's effectiveness as well or if it is just attack damage spells.
For those struggling with this, equipping Fire + Elemental as Defense on Barret made him almost unkillable, since Ifrit healed him faster than Bahamut could damage him.
@@patrickburke1364 finish top mission you get that item , instant limit break in starting battle, i just finish that top mission last night the feeling try it all day hahaha
Man I went in and didn't expect I was fighting most of the summons. I beat it in 23 mins first try, but man I could've completely lost when Bahamut used his Mega Flare if I didn't have reprieve and I didn't use aeriths limit break Planet's Protection before he used Mega Flare. When they were 1 hit HP when reprieve was activated Bahamut was trying to scratch them all to death, but Planet's Protection saved me. I didn't live up to your words Cloud about not relying on luck, but I still beat it anyways now I am not going back.
Even though I gotta admit I really loved and adored the work of Hamauzu in FF7R, swapping that chilling majestic boss theme of Leviathan with an even worse remix of one of the worst battle tracks in FF history is a sinful act.
When that version of the ff13 battle music came on I had the same thought haha. I have nothing against that song really but all of the battle music in ff7r is way better.
Nice! Killing Bauhamat before Ifrit was unexpected but awesome. Not sure if you've tried it but what if you use ascension on bahamut right off the bat? Cloud may get another charge closer to the end.
Thank you so much for this video it took me 30 minutes but I was stuck on the first boss for several days until I watched your video!!!! Thank you so much.
Just a tip for you, if you slot Healing materia with magnify materia it will heal all your characters at once and use less MP. I use Aerith as healer because her MP can get really high with enough MP UP materia maxed.
@@KevinSatron Yeah, but casting Haste to the whole party seems like the only real application for what this guy is going for. I feel like any other magnify strats would just consume valuable ATB and slow down the fights.
@@LyghtWaves Haste, protect, manaward, manawall, curaga...it's not only used on offensive spells u know, literally every1 else is using magnify and cure or magnify haste u balloon.
damn, holy mother, good job. That's really impressive. But not to be nitpicky or anything but is Barret actually better for this than Tifa? Or is that just a personal preference of yours?
He is a Bit more useful against bahamut and especialy Leviathan as He can hit him while he is in Air. Apart from that since Barrett can attack from range positioning is more likely to not have 2+ chars getting damaged from one attack. The constant switching over mir to Long distances also messes with the AI as it usually tries to Go after the Player.
Barret is always useful, Lifesaver is amazing and soaks up massive amounts of damage from your teammates - equip him with Chakra and he can heal himself to near-full HP and keep the cycle going. I actually used both Barret and Tifa with Aerith when I did this fight, leaving Cloud behind. Tifa is an ATB machine and her insanely good Stagger % increasing attacks make her invaluable imo. Got her equipped with Gotterdammerung + Refocus + Haste, shit is absolutely INSANE.
@@valkyrion_ex1173 seems like a really solid plan, however, i used cloud, tifa and aerith purely due to personal preference and it worked out just fine. :) took me like 10-11 minutes beating this the 2nd time today, so i can't complain.
8:36 Veiled in black really works for a game like FF7(of course they’d all fit around each game since same working group) but then again the soundtrack still fits good for FFXV revolving around fighting a magitek army and whatnot
For cloud he uses first strike max level and an accesory item that you can get after you defeat the pride and joy that every battle you have your limit gauge full
@@Heartedwish not rubbish...he did this on his own... Not so you can copy someone else's build and do something you can't do yourself and figure what works best
@@Cro55xFaded who said I am interested in his build? I already plat it myself. You don't need his build to plat it. These people are just curious about his build, yes albeit some may need help to get the plat but nothing wrong for them to receive some help. If everyone on earth said do it yourself for everything then this life is not worth living. You best not let others tell this to you when you need help with anything since some of you arrogant people out there are so full of your OWN achievements. Good luck out there with this self-centric mentality.
I seem to get to pride n joy quite easily but always die by him. Doing lightning and damage to his legs and just goin for damage but always end up dying. His grab attack always catches. Any tips b nice.
Keep your distance against him. His only range attack is the beam cannon. It'll take about 6K HP from your character but that should be fine because the charge up is slow so you'll have plenty of time to heal before hand and spread out. If he catches you, you can attack his arm to force him to release your character. He gets a bit tricker when he spits out the fire but if you have elemental + fire on your armor it should be no problem.
You need elemetal materia to do it easy, and you need to stop Bahmut so he doesnt make Megaflare, if it was a vn I would tell you everything but writing every materia you might need is a pain, still, there are several builds, I killed all the summons like they were kids, the really hard one is Bahamut
25min fight average but you gotta max materia first. Use cloud, tiffa and aerith. Stack hp and mp and 1 haste and all 3 heal and revival. Be sure to have on aerith chain heal to heal all 3 7.2k healing. Barrier on tiffa and cloud. Start with cloud haste tiffa > tiffa haste aerith then cloud. Switch between cloud and tiffa and keep using their 1 atb abilities. Cloud tripple slash and for tiffa that weird left right combo. You can keep it up without having much trouble, be sure all are haste and give aerith some aoe regen in healing buff up all time. When you hit the 4th boss count the normal abilities, he does 5 normal abilities with count down and one big 10k ability after those 5. After you seen the 5th normal count to 15 seconds then start poping barrier on all and have everyone top aboven 6k health range repeat. Took me 4 tries, messed up first one as i summoned first boss you should do on behamot
Nice! Hearing that Dissidia track kick in against Bahamut brought back a ton of memories... What was the first song tho? Sounded like a Touhou cover. Demetori?
This fight, this fight is what gives that item. They have a video on, what I'm assuming is his first or first few clears. This is just a refurbished attempt at quickest kill they could do currently.
Good work. However, how do you know it is the world record? Also, combat starts at about 0:03 and ends at 10:27. How is this 5 minutes and 58 seconds? Don't think there is five minutes worth of pauses while each fight finishes including the time it takes to start each fight.
I have a feeling the Final Model will be a challenge, I think this was a tease and the real challenge was the 4 Summons Battle. I agree though should have been more formidable. How about that Sephiroth?)
@@jonathanolvera1948 Sephiroth was pretty fun to fight on hard mode. I lost against him a couple of times too, until I decided to change my approach to the fight.
@@alukard4656 i dont know.. i live in the netherlands.. got eu version even i confirm i get 50% just tested got total of 198 mp wasted 150 remains on 47 new fight started got 99+ sit on 146? So i do t know mate
This is not an official world record because you used the Gotterdammerung. Professional speed runners do not use things they get for beating the game, RE 2 and 3 remakes speedruns do not use the cheat weapons like infinite rocket launcher or things you dont get until after the game, they are only done with what the game provides at the time. Its also why you need to show the materia before the fight so you are not using hacks or dupes for certain materia.
