It's ok to have trouble. I do have some experience on card games tbf. The idea of this deck is to control the map. You wanna own as many positions as possible. But it can be delicate. When u place a card and some tokens appear on adjacent square(s) you gotta make sure your opponent cannot retake position of this/those square(s) without you being unable to reretake it/them. More precisely at the end of the match you'll wanna have owned as many squares as possible. That's why the replacement cards are nuts. When you put a card somewhere gaining position of some adjacent squares and the opponent challenges one of those squares, you can replace your card by the cross replacement card to retake those squares your opponent took which they are not likely to retake. I hope it's not too confusing. If you have any question or u want me to add some details please let me know. I have to admit that Queen's blood isn't so fresh in my mind rn 😅 What do you mean exactly? For you Gi Natak doesn't baboost your top and your bottom cards by the amount of points the card that got replaced had? Thanks for the comments btw!

Jockey is win-more and doesn't synergize with the deck! Also mandragora is better than security officer to me. And heatseeker is straight up a buffed version. But yeah they're GREAT cards for sure. I just felt like their utility couldn't overcome their absence of synergy with this deck. Maybe with different NPCs I would think otherwise though

@ Yeah I just like the card lol, like the staple of a basic early game deck. I added Tifa to be a specular version of space ranger and I think it works pretty good and gives you a +5 points which is a nice bonus. But yeah really depends on the opponent since the AI tends to play the same in late game matches and rarely missplay.

Highly doubt it. I made a different version for survival mode. I could make a video for it if you want.

@ yep it's in the same category, sone of them just have more killer cards like bombs or yuffie

@ the thing is that it's difficult to use bombs without some friendly fire. I myself don't rock this kind of build. I prefer enfeebling/destroying my own cards to power the midgardsomr and tonberry king then using gi nattak on whichever gets the middle lane first

@@henrymontes3626 to me this deck you're referring to is less consistent. I've tried it and the blood champion NPCs don't let you setup generally. With this enhance-based deck only really poor drawing would make you lose. From my experience that is.

Pretty sure you can't build the entire deck this early. But other cards are great replacements. Dio can replace Marlboro, Shoalopod (number 33) can replace Cait Sith (good synergy with Ignilisk) Cactuar is also a good option even though Ignilisk is better. Mandragora is really good, even the very first card i.e. security officer

@@rodders219 well yeah some of these minigames could be tough xD But to me they're all pretty fun too!

You're not trash at it xD It's just that some people (like me) do have some intuition and experience with it via other card games like yugioh xD

​@ That's true. I found it easy all matches but maybe it was because I know how to build a deck with the experience I have in ptcgo (pokemon card game). Extremely different, of course, but the idea of building a deck where almost all cards synergize each other or complements is the same.
