Hey Death, long term RU-vid 4-8 fan here. After discussing the ambiguity of finding the Zack flashback scene in the Shinra Mansion, do you know if it's the same in the Japanese version?

The Zack flashback scene doesn’t exist in the original japanese release, it was added to the international version

I remember an old reddit post about the idea of making an ff7 spinoff about the cetras battle against Jenova. You could do it in classic high fantasy ff style. I think itd be cool to do it and not make any overt references that it's ff7. I doubt it would ever happen, but i always thought it would be a neat and more organic way to use the ff7 universe.

In the og game the "flayer" that you can get in gold saucer. Both cid and aeris can equip it. But you would never know because you would usualy get it after disk 1

Iv always thought summons seem a bit pointless apart from the epicness from them. You watch a huge cut scene for neo bahmut that takes ages and a bolt magic that take a second does nearly same amount
