Same I brute forced these a while ago after many tries but like G&G I always play with the mindset that my stuff can't ever take damage when the goal is to destroy theirs before they destroy yours and that's it. Your base could be cloud sliding face-first down the reactor stairs but you still won.

Jesus christ, your gears and gambits guide got me through all the hard ones first try and so has this one... i just need you to do one for the cactuar crush hard modes so i can get party level 10 xD
For the fourth challenge I feel like I didn’t have the elite pieces needed to enact your plan thank god in the last 7 seconds all my plain dudes finally decided to attack this guide seriously helped me lol

A couple tricks for frog jump: - Go straight to the center and run the opposite direction, straight into the arm for the first 30 seconds - Start going the normal direction - The same platforms will drop at the same times. You want to aim to be at the far edge of the last platform that stays up With the first 30 seconds at zero risk, the mental fatigue of troubleshooting another 30 seconds is not so bad Once you find the sweet spot of the platforms, there is a certain timing you can get a feel for. The jumps need correct placement about 5 seconds before the speed shifts.
Was that difficulty adjustment option in the menu there to begin with, or was it patched in? I spent hours trying to get this first time through, then first time with this video 😃

These are awesome strategies. Similar to how I managed to beat the hard modes, but much cleaner. Kind of a full on offence, whilst leaving only enough to stop your base from being obliterated before you take them out.
This video is amazing just like the gears and gambits one, but I can't seem to get challenge #4 to work out. I have it set to easy difficulty, would it be more consistent on normal or dynamic?
Sorcerer's Storm + anything that boosts ATB for less downtime. Just make sure you're in the correct light/dark wards. Ray of Judgement for the big boys when they fall down. Edit: might even wanna throw on an Attack Up materia so she can thwack the physical guys easier.
I hate this mini game with a passion. The suck part is if you want to 100% the game u had no choice but to play this stupid mini game. So glad I have this guide. I know people who love strategy games like this. I just dont get it. Makes me feel stupid
You're not stupid, it's... just its own thing. Kinda like how folk have math brains or language brains, or no preference. I'd like them to include the mini-games in the next version and expand on it, but... heh maybe not hinge hundred percent on it? I've NEVER cared about platinum-ing a game, I play games to have fun, and be challenged, and honestly I think Rebirth does OKAY with ... it not being pure TEDIUM unlike some games? But it's EXTREMELY challenging, these arbitrary rules and situations. So more than understand the frustration. It's like one of the Holy-Squinix-Devs HAS to be a golfer.
