Arrangement of "Enemy Attack" ( 敵襲 ), the boss theme from from Final Fantasy X.

Another of my favourites, and another Nakano masterpiece. The original PS2 version of this track is something quite special, and the HD Remaster really didn't scratch the same itch for me. I tried to keep the soul of the track intact, while spicing it up where possible. The most important things for me were the chugging low string sound, and the horn cluster chords.
The beginning of the track always made me think of the alarm siren sound from Star Wars for some reason, so I incorporated that sample into the intro of this arrangement. I think it enhances the feeling that you're about to fight something big and dangerous. There's also some extra percussion and choirs to give it some more movement and power.
There are so many memorable fights with this song, but in the end I chose Evrae for the thumbnail, since I assume that's the fight people spend the most time listening to this track in.
