they need to make the versions of all previous ultimates but for the new classes.... like right now, UwUs would be BiS looking for sage since its blue shinny and sage is pretty much blue spells and all.

The biggest wall I’ve seen with trying to do ultimates at this specific moment is finding a group if you don’t already have one. Most statics looking for ultimates are looking for fill-ins for halfway or beyond in dsr. That said I managed to find a fresh group to start tea with and I’m both excited and nervous, especially as most of my favourite ultimate weapons come from tea. (uwu is very good for weapons too as long as the bright blue doesn’t ruin them)

Agree! The biggest hurdle is finding a like minded group with the same progression as you. I also love the TEA weapons the most. But also fond of the UCoB ones. Goodluck! And may the clears be epic af.

Oh look weapons I'll never get because very few of my friends play and the ones that do will never do this content. Also I'm not going to try to find a group because I can't stick to a schedule. Hopefully the new relic weapons look cool.

TEA greatsword imo. It is the only none symmetrical model out of the 4 and I generally like great sword that's not symmetrical, adds to the style.

I like a couple EX trial weapons too, personally though I would prefer the ultimate weapons to be less glory and show more of the actual weapons (a little too much effects going on)

ucob weapons looks like handle of a pan, uwu a cheap version of thordan extreme, tea they legit look serious appealing and desirable, dsr the flying scriptures kinda saved the design but still TEA is absolutely unique

there's currently 4 Ultimate Raids available in the game. UCoB (Unending Coil of Bahamut) & UWU (The Weapon's refrain Ultimate aka Ultima Weapon Ultimate) have been released in Stormblood so they have no weapons for Reaper, Sage, Gunbreaker and Dancer. TEA (The Epic of Alexander) has been released in Shadowbringers so it doesn't have Reaper & Sage weapons cause all these Jobs have been added at least 1 expansion after the Raid has been out. And typicly SE doesn't add weapons for new Jobs to old fights.

To sum it up - If a job didn't exist back when the content was made, they typically won't go back and add weapons for those jobs to those fights.

In my opinion these are the best looking ones for each job PAL - UWU WAR - TEA DRK - All GNB - TEA MNK - DRU DRG - UCOB / UWU / TEA NIN - UWU / DSRU SAM - UCOB / UWU / TEA BRD - All MCH - TEA / DSRU BLM - UCOB / UWU / DSRU SMN - UCOB RDM - UCOB / DSRU WHM - TEA / DSRU SCH - All AST - TEA credits to framinthor's comment for the template

Personally I'm not really a fan of the weapons.. if I had to choose which ones I liked the most, I'd say probably UWU or TEA. That being said, it's not like I'll ever do these with how hectic my work schedule can be :')

Man, what happened to FFXIV artists? They used to put much more effort into weapon designs years ago. Most of these Ultimates look like a cheap toys from Aliexpress, made out of transparent plastic with a yellow/blue/orange battery-powered LED stuck in them.

It's hard to beat the UWU and Tea weapons. I like the uwu Dragoon, blm, mnk, nin more than their Tea ones but other than that most of the others fall to Tea. The DSR ones are God awful, literally. Thordan weapons had some garbage designs back in HW, but to put that weird peachy color on them is worse. The mch one is the best of all of them but it's still bad. Was expecting darker and red/purple versions of the ucob ones, which I think would have been cooler

I see why they did it but they didn't have to. Alex weapons are based off the Anima weps. I see no reason why they couldn't use the final stage. I like the glow but the base weapons are yuck

Did you expect people to carry your ass while you're chilling in the wall? And people are helping if you're willing to put in any effort. It's not uncommon for ultimates to have 99 parsers or people with clears in the statics with fresh people with average logs.
