Honestly we've had massive shifts in them, even in phase 2 (after first nail phase). At first it seemed like they were static, but we've had it almost spawn in the NE corner at times so Im assuming it shifts slightly based on Ifrit's position.

Yeah honestly I didn't even notice the map rotations, we had some inconsistencies with these locations. But yeah I'll make an annotation noting the slight rotations.

We've had some odd occurings with them. Our first several runs we held him exactly behind where he starts, and it spawned where you see in the video. We brought him over there and it stayed the same, but we've had some odd locations pop up.

next patch probably wont be until march or april.

adrianofthedead It could go either way with the next patch. 2.1 was delayed by a month due to the launch server issues, but 2.2 is in development already, and has been alongside 2.1 (SE uses a branch development method to do simultaneous patches at the same time). It was estimated, by SE, that a new patch would be every 2.5-3 months (or 10-12 weeks). If they wanted to, they could use the delay for 2.1 as a means of improving 2.2, and keep it as 10-12 weeks following 2.1 (meaning that it will fall around March). Or, they could decide to get it back on original track, and release it at the intended time of around February. Only SE know of course, but there is a possibility they will release 2.2 a lot earlier than we might expect. Speculation, but a possibility depending on what they want to do with the time they have.

i can understand it takes time to update the game and myself i was surprised with the amount of content they added in 2.1 ( im 16 and im trying to learn VC++ it it takes me ages to make a small text based game ) imagine how much effort goes into directing (as there are a few ways to code the same thing group work can get confusing) i may just leave my sub till 2.2 then or im not sure, i want to play the game but got my GCSE finals and i want to go out and learn as much as i can about Computer Science as i can, thanks for the comment that info was really helpful. got to revise though my Xmas holidays :'(

Logan Forrests id rather they delay something and get all the bugs worked out than release something early because they had already delayed an update. theres enough content in this game right now to keep me occupied for a long while.

Disregard this previous comment, beat ifrit today. Had both healers maintain their positions on north and south side of the arena and just circled the arena away from the healer with searing/towards the healer that got it last.

He will always alternate which healer gets the debuff, so if you know a large portion of your raid will be on one-side of the arena (for example, the East side), then you want the next healer that will get Searing Wind on the opposite side. This may require the healers to switch locations from time to time. I should probably make a video with JUST this footage.

He is still a tight DPS check, and can be really healing intensive from a tank or healer perspective, but he definitely doesn't seem as innovated as the other two.

Titan>Garuda>Ifrit. Although, garuda isn't even that hard, the biggest problem is definetely whicked wheel and that nasty DoT which name i forgot.

***** That DOT "Windburn" can be avoided completely by running away when she ports up. I would say Titan>Ifrit>Garuda, Garuda can be farmed in 5mins or less.

justme503 Yeah, you're right, Ifrit is definetely harder, I just didnt realized it cause my groups healers are pretty good, they said it was annoying to heal, but didnt payed attention, until i got not so good healers.

Yeah it took me a good bit to finally break the habit of not running away fast enough.

Tier 3 LB, effects turned off

You have to destroy all the nails or it will wipe you regardless.

The minimum required is 70, which would definitely require extremely tight DPS, tank and healing checks. Realistically being closer to 80 would be optimal.

It is Un-Esuna-able

All EX primals drop iLvl90 accessories. Garuda drops a ring, Titan drops earrings, and Ifrit drops wrists. Also, for beating all 3, you can pick an iLvl90 weapon, I assume from Rowena in Mor Dhona (or at least that area). A weapon can be obtained once per week. So every week you would need to beat each of the EX primals for another weapon, meaning it would take 9 weeks to get all 9 weapons.

Aditionally the quest for ifrit and the (i think weekly repeatable one after it) give items to redeem for new iLvl90 weapons, some of which are very good, and most look pretty awesome

It's not that RNG, all three fights are pretty scripted as far as us healers are concerned. The damage that does occur is pretty predictable; it was, even back when this was released. More often than not, the damage that players take here is unavoidable so it is designed to not be anywhere near as punishing as the other mechanics in other primals. I've had more trouble healing Titan Extreme due to damage control. One or two DPS (god forbid, one healer) having a short lagspike and taking a party stack of Weight of the Lands in the face is far more difficult to come back from than damage off of Fetters or the AoEs from the nails. By far.

Which information is wrong?

morcane There are currently two bits of incorrect information: plumes are not statically in those two locations, though in 15 attempts we had seen them in these locations most often, hence why we pull him like that. The other is that the healer with Searing Wind DOES take damage over time. Other than that I can't find anything wrong. The abilities happen in the order of the video, Incineration's debuff reduces HP/Increases damage taken, all of his auto attacks are cleaves, Howl does alternate on the healers. Ifrit's Dash does have a knockback component, although you need to be standing in a pretty specific spot for it to occur (you can see it in the preview for the battle in the Patch 2.1 trailer). Fetters reduces damage done/increases damage over time per stack based on distance. The nails blow up and deal a few hundred damage + vulnerability down, with the big nail doing several thousand damage. As the content creator I appreciate when viewers leave criticism, therefor I do also invite viewers to point out errors so that annotations can later be added.

Mrhappy1227 Also, you mention that incinerate is erratic. It is not. His attacks are very much a rotation.
