@@MrKevlarkent True that, maybe it'll be the next job. Heard maybe, beast or puppet master, or geomamcer.(not that big into OG ff games so I may be misnaming).
@alexas1364 yeah tbh, FF14 doesn't have a job similar to Feral. GW2 ranger and it's elite specs can play like a WoW hunter(all specs) or Soulbeast for Feral like gamelplay, with short bow and daggers for bleeds ad poisons. Druid spec plays like a balance or resto Druid. FF14 classes are more niche. GW2 and 14 are good games, but I'd personally say overall, 14 is better. GW2 just does pvp/mounts better, and has more dynamic combat/class customization. But its free so I play both here and there I'd say GW2 has a lot more parallels with WoW classes
switched to NIN main recently and this vid has honestly help me so much! had alot of issues with clipping and then with the opener mastery but this has helped :3
Ninja is so fun Currently on free trial and locked at Lv 60 As soon as I clear all free trial content and max all jobs to the limit, Ninja would be the 1st class to master after getting full version
Ah thanks for explaining true north. I thought it meant by facing didn't matter. I first saw it when I was on lancer but now that one decided I like rogue better it makes more sense what it means.
Probably my second favorite melee after MNK, can't play it as much as I want, due to my ISP. Definitely a job that requires a good internet connection.
one of the things I do with bunshin is Ill wait until after I use spinning edge to use it. thats how you line it up to get the highest potency attacks in it during cooldown phases
Thank you for guide, very useful. I am playing a ninja and never see anyone else playing them. Is Duton worth using? When I use it in duty finders I get random complaints that I am wasting resources on it. I thought it would be useful to help clear trash mobs and to possibly get free damage on a static boss?
Thanks for the accurate tutorial. I’m a beginner and still at lvl 50 but I’m anticipating playing this class in the future. A few questions, if you could be so kind : - Is it accurate to create macros for the mudras as suggested by the game (I’ve made one for each mudra combination and found a place for it in my hotbar) - How can I can change the disposition of my hotbar keys to resemble the one of your example ? Thanks for your help and please keep up the good work
I got go level 50 and was so disappointed. I usually love mages and stealth classes in most games mmo included but hate what they did with them in ff14. I'll wait for viper.
I still feel some lag with the mudras but it’s more I input it too fast, which has been in issue this expansion. Though apparently it may be better than before. It’s fun in console and controller though. Doesn’t kill my hands as bad even though it has the highest Casts Per Minute (CPM) since it doesn’t have tons of oGCDs compared to others.
I have a question, is doing kassatsu + suiton fine to do so while the each of mudra skill is currently on cooldown ? kept wondering if I have to waste kassatsu on suiton coz I want to use trick attack early.
You’re definitely making a mistake somewhere in the rotation as this scenario should never occur. I recommend joining the nin channels in the balance and asking if someone could look at your rotation to figure out what.
You should be applying suiton 20 seconds before Trick Attack comes off cd, that directly translates to after opener when mudras tick to 6 seconds before you get your 2nd stack (assuming you did it right) on 2nd charge Kassatsu should always line up after suiton is applied unless you made a mistake.
Practice on a training dummy for 10 minutes at a time. Take a 2 minute break, review what you did wrong through logs or vods. And repeat. Take a few hours to do this. Works for any job.
I love ninja but today I just enabled the w cross hotbar and it is so overwhelming with the amount of skills there are now on my hotbar which is why I feel like it's gonna take a while to get better at the game 🥲
