Blue Mage remains a breath of fresh air to me. I enjoy how different the game feels and plays when you have so much versatility, and I love going back to older content in this fashion. There is a lot of potential here and I hope people keep an open mind and SE develops this concept further to make playing it in between level cap patches interesting and rewarding.

This is exactly what i would like to see for the future, the progression and gameplay for normal jobs is too linear and classic and after 10 years the situation is so boring

I used an alternate strat, of popping heavy guard and hunkering down under diamondback for the Goldor rush. Made the next bit a tad stressful with 6-8 vulns, though.

Seriously how are you doing so much damage?! I am fully socketed with the bis gear running similar skills and I'm nowhere near clearing this fast?! Did they buff the toughness somewhere since you did this fight?

He's probably using the lvl 80 weapon that you only get from already completing this fight. Before you finish it I think you only have the lvl 70 weapon which obv does way less damage

1) does options count as as sprint? 2) can i It be obtained, with the Quest? 3) do i have to hit the boss with all 6elements? 4) do i need elemetal at both acts or just 1st?

This level is literally impossible for me. Never had this happen with this game but spells just won't cast, I get hit when I'm nowhere near the attack. Don't know what's up but the games in a shitty place right now.

congratz mr.happy on your clear. My main issue is I always felt SE should have never tied these MC fights to the BLU storyline. I stop the Blu story quest a while ago have finally defeated level 25 dirty rotten ??? boss on my 29th attempt. This is back when MC first came out. Anyway, congratz again on your clear.

You can change Ram Voice for Cold Fog, use it when Goldon is Summoning the Slime, you will have Cold Fog active and you can froze the slime and kill him, this is very good because you will have more dps room 👌

Both Ends cost me the feat on my first successful attempt at going for this challenge. I was fuming, it's just not worth bringing it.

It's really not an issue, drag him south or you yourself just stand south. It took me 6 attempts to get this achievement and I never once even did any damage to the crystal

BLU fights are always quite creative and fun to learn, even if sometimes frustrating. A shame that they didn't really do much more with it, but there's still hope for the future... BLU Deep Dungeon? BLU Roulette? even more BLU solo achievements? Come on, with a few adjustments everything's possible.

Skill issue. The lvl 80 weapon really doesn't make a difference outside the materia ilvl slots. You can beat the fight normally to get Blue-Eyes (which is the exact same stats as Gentlemage's Umbrella) and just redo the fight for the achievement.
