What a waste, and too think, Insomnia alone, was too be part one/disc one of the FFvs13 outlay plan from Nomura, before the higher ups demanded the game be retooled for Next gen. The ps3 version was 75% complete.
I hope that one day in the future they will redo and revamp this game like it should have been like they did with FF X and VII. It will most likely happen, but probably not for a long, long time
Any possibility on getting a tutorial on to do this on the current update? As far as I'm aware, neither the Leviathan nor the Ardyn glitches work. But I could be wrong~
To be sure, the method in the video you sent me works on 1.09? I know that's the version you're using, but I didn't if you had a prior save file before the update
yes, it works on 1.09, I had no problems doing it quickly, but some people have the problem that the second phase of the battle triggers randomly after a certain amount of damage to Ardyn, so I would recommend leaving him with about 2 thirds of his health before attempting the glitch After that attack him for a while, go near the bed, and press x to open the rest options. Leave the options active for just a little while, and just take the damage if he attack, If it doesn't trigger the second phase, repeat (attack him, and go near the bed again) When the cutscene triggers, confirm and rest, when armiger is active and you are back into gameplay, go back to the title screen, and load the last autosave, save and you are done.
Do you people actually think that you were ment to play the ENTIRE area of Insomnia. Do you think Versus XIII was gonna let you do that? From the trailers it looked like you were going to explore as much, and there would still be devastation from the empire attacks. I hate the logic of these people. We barely know anything about Versus aside from some of what the plot and characters were going to involve.
I don't think anyone had the expectation of exploring the ENTIRE city of insomnia. However I do think large segments during the invasion was what people wanted. The invasion at night was what pulled everyone's attention to the game and we never actually got that thanks to tabata's retelling of the game. Yes we got to explore a medium segment of the city capital in Royal Edition but it wasn't the same. what people wanted was to see Noctis fight off the nyphs and escape the city during the invasion of insomnia. it would have added more drama and likeness to the trailer that everyone wanted. FFXV is a good game for what it is, but people wanted something that was changed due to retooling engines, writing struggles, and so much more. Only Nomura knows Versus... but we wanted his vision for this game, not someone else's.
@@artorias6321 Oh I tottaly agree, I would've much prefer we experienced the invasion, it wouldve made a much better start to the game, and the Niffs defiantly needed more time to shine as the antagonists, but what I'm talking about is people's expectation of exploration I general, you see people saying that they were wishing to explore the entire city, about as much as you see being shown in the video, and I don't think that was ever the intention, I believe it would've been a pretty linier path to the end since the whole point was to escape an invasion. AND since the game was ment to immediately start in the place where Noct and Stella ment to be so there's not really any clean Insomnia exploration, Episode Ardyn did kinda give us that though. I understand, while also being incredibly dissapointed on the lack of a invasion, it might've been removed due to time constraints, but I do like at least experiencing it it the movie, which I think was Square really trying to give us people that invasion that we wanted, I know that's not the same, but it is something. I love the game for many reasons, and heavily acknowledge it's flaws. But sometimes it just seems unfair to compare a really rushed product, to a game that just couldn't be released for years and know little about and just have almost unfair expectations on it like the amount of exploration, like come on, it was ment to be on the PS3.
@@pedroxruz6032 well said. Its true, I did see a few folks wanting a Yakuza like experience with the city but honestly the scale of the city was nearly bigger than most, if not all the areas in the base game. I know it seems unfair to compare the game to something that was never released but at the same time its hard not to. I've been following the game since 2011 and seeing it change so much definitely made me scratch my head with the choices they made. Nomura is moving on from it but holding the core concept of a fantasy game in a reality like city with his new IP still in the works. "Verum Rex" from Kingdom Hearts III definitely caught that same feeling. who knows... to me Yozora is a symbol of it.
