Thank you! I use 0,5-0,6 PE braid & 10 lb FC leader mostly. I have tried many methods in the locking part. Trying to find the best one. Last time I locked it with the rizzuto lock from your other video. Is there a reason why you didn't use rizzuto lock in this video ?

There is really no other reason, I think if you use a final knot like the one in this video it will close the end of the leader line, so if you use a lighter rod it will make it easier for the knot to come out of the top ring. And it won't damage the ring. Thank you for watching my video sir 🙏

What advice would you give to people who use 2-4lb leader lines, on 6-8lb main line? Also vice versa… Sometimes I’d like to tie a 6lb leader on 3-4lb main line. Thank you!

as for a 6 pound leader I have never tied it to an Fg knot, because the line is too light. I think if you are using a 6 pound leader it will be easier if you use an Alberto knot or a carrot knot. Alberto and carrot are also very strong when used with 6 pound line. Thank you friends and correct me if I'm wrong

@@pescadorestamora I used to tie the Alberto knot for anything under 15 lb test, but I may have to rethink using the FG down to 10 lb test.

I've been using a 6lb leader on 6 or 8lb main line. I seem to have about a 75% success rate so take this with a grain of salt; 25% of the time when I pull the knot tight the main line snaps but if I get it right it's very strong and will last me all day. What seems to help me is for the first 4 wraps I pull it pretty snug after each wrap, after that I continue with the wraps as shown in this video. I've found 24-26 wraps is the sweet spot for the lighter lines.

Moro no Brasil,sempre usei esse nó com linhas de bitolas maiores,mas esse nó,aqui chamamos de nó SF,nó de gangrena e por aí vai.Tentarei com linhas mais finas,um abraço!
