I think reines is better than castoria in this comp because of the first wave atk buff that is stronger. Unless thread to humanity but I doubt they will appear in farm nodes.
yeah the order of best to use here its Reines(40% atk up)> Waver(30% atk up) > Castoria(20% atk up), there is the one case where castoria could have more starting NP gauge due event CE with starting NP gauge or gimmick(super lock on chocolate in san valentine for example) in which case she would be above both with her NP adding an extra 30% atk up
Depends actually if you want a buff that last for 3 turns castoria is better If you want a defence debuff working on the last turn only both reines and waver are better Like that castoria is 50-70% attack up depending on the np lvl Waver 30% attack up 30-50% defence down depending on the np lvl Reines 40% attack up 30-50% defence down If you won't count the np Then both are better than castoria
Ok i do not have rising mud rain so i can’t demonstrate it. The point of demoing black grail in particular is because it also means any ce works. Black grail is only damage that doesnt help in looping recharges.
@@KyukiKazuhi turn 1: 20% from append 2 + Artoria 3rd skill(30%) and skill 1 + both Koyan skills 3(and 2 if there are man attribute) and one koyanskaya uses their skill 1(50%) to finish the charge with 300% overcharge artoria gets from her NP 30% Charge for the next turn turn 2: already with 30% from NP, Plugsuit oberon S1(20%), use the other koyanskaya S1(50%) to finish the charge. Throw NP At 100% artoria ger from her NP 20% charge for next turn turn 3: already at 20%, use 3rd skill again(30%) and skill 2, use oberon 2nd skill(50%), 3rd skill and Plugsuit Skill 1. throw NP end fight.
Honestly even Waver would be better instead of Castoria for this. The only thing you're getting with Castoria is the 20% attack boost, unless you're fighting Threat to Humanity enemies. Waver gives 30% attack up (and +500 damage but who cares) over Castoria's 20% attack up. You would also use his Attack Boost on W1, making it slightly more consistent. So if you have Waver, use him for this comp instead, as the returns are slightly higher. The exception being if your farming CE has a 50% battery and you have Castoria with a maxed Append 2, in which case you can use her NP on Turn 3 instead of another 30% attack boost.
@@Sb142sf Yes, but Waver is available to everyone (twice) while Reines is a limited banner character. She only gives 10% more attack but is significantly harder to acquire. If you have Reines then yea, use her, obvs. But most people will have a Waver if they're trying to do farming like this, so he's the better option over Castoria.
Threat to humanity is also not really applicable since most of those servants are foreigners and Oberon deals 0.5x damage to them. So basically, he only hits harder when you have Saber Hokusai and Mecha Liz as enemies, which is pretty niche imo.

I know he can farm, but I'm always afraid since I only have him at np1 and I know that if I screw up the whole strategy falls apart since cards won't save me, unlike other servants.
i just got him after 650sq.. i ran out at 400sq and just did interludes and rank ups and bond farming, every single went to him and finally man i got him goodluck on everyone's rolls
Unfortunately I'm like 1 crystallized lore away from pulling this off, here's hoping NA throws us a bone soon because there's many amazing strats I've had to put on hold because Oberon's 2nd skill hasn't been maxed out yet
We've seen quite a few videos in the last few events of Oberon being used to clear 90++ because he counters knight classes and has mod against lawful. Folks might not have extra quartz to roll for NP2 at end of the meta servants gauntlet, but it would be pretty helpful to have him NP2.
The 7th anniversary will give you the opportunity to pick a 5* CE for free if you're still missing one when that happens. Let's hope this doesn't happen though so good luck on your summons!
Now i wonder if you mostly can use him at np1 or you need np2 to make the damage a bit more reliable. I like him so i might grail him to 100. Hope 100 np2 works well
@@maitomat I'm gonna do some testing myself later, but I doubt that NP1 will be enough for most nodes since you can't pop all his buffs at turn one and even the dmg numbers in the video with NP4 and MLB BG against zerks aren't that good for the first 2 waves.
@@sezzomon6625 well, on most farming nodes, the first 2 round's enemies doesn't have a high HP, mainly the third round is where the enemy has over 100k HP and there's where Oberon 3rd skill allows him to shine
if you are in the english version he hasnt even come out yet. He will be avaliable when they start adding the 3 parts of lostbelt 6 story. starting from june(and they will be taking some time between months for each chapter)
@@keqingdihati8334 if its JP then nobody has any idea. They dont make a yearly roadmap they just announce whatever they might have for next week or month which right is only the arcade collab with tiamat. Oberon last rerun was 5 months ago
If I’m to understand either July at the latest and possibly Late June at the earliest, the schedule will probably be a bit wonky due to trying to get everything in line for early anniversary so he could be around those two months I listed or August like on JP server.
Must pull if you decide to use buster, art may not need but having him is better and quick can greatly appreciate the 70% np About his banner, probably after koyan but NA schedule might shuffle a bit due to koyan being anniversary unit
Around early July. Oberon is really good, some people argue that in a sense, he's better than Castoria because the 90+ and 90++ farming nodes now in JP. And he's definitely a priority, Koyanskaya will get another banner early January, Oberon next banner is around 1.5 years after his first banner. But if you don't have Castoria yet, I suggest roll for Castoria first.
As the comment said above it should be around late June or July because I think LB6 is coming to NA next month and for JP he came exactly 2 months after LB6 release and for the first question Oberon's a strong unit but his priority is kinda lower than other strong units (imo) roll for Castoria or Koyan light and Skadi first before rolling him he makes those 3 units I just mentioned stronger in farming teams and him without all 3 of them would feel kinda lacking
@@_dxksh lady avalon only has 20%. For turn 3 you must have 30% NP charge from a support. While yeah you could use a CE to cover turn 1. Turn 3 absolutely needs someone with 30% or more charge for an ally.
@@_dxksh only accessible option is xufu. Everything else is limited(summer charlotte, miyu and Calamity jane[requires 50 stars]) or story lock(quixote)
