She's probably the one 4 star I'm most looking forward to for the summer event (other than Hokusai because she's free). I absolutely adore Melt. She can drown me in her jealous, greedy love any day.
Here's a funny story: I originally made my JP account because I wanted to try out the new bronze servants and grail a bunch of them. Started with Charlotte, continued with Chen Gong and Gareth... only to then throw those plans out of the window as soon as the summer event arrived lol. Meltryllis is one of my favourite servants in all of Fate, second only to Tamamo no Mae, so obviously I went for NP5 and maxed her out completely ASAP. She's currently lvl 100, 2000/2000, with her Buster and two Arts cards at +500. Worth every single QP; she's basically been the face of that account ever since, and unless DW releases a Tôno Akiha pseudo servant or something that's not going to change any time soon. Now for some tips regarding her: 1. She is an amazing solo-looper even before Castoria, but doesn't play all that nicely with secondary DPS servants since she absorbs their NP gauges. It's Melt; she's going to let you know of her disaproval if you give her less than 100% of your attention. That being said, there are some instances where she can be convinced to share the spotlight. Servants with built-in refund in their NPs work really well with her (Altria, Gorgon, BB, Da Vinci Rider, etc.) for one thing. Here's an example from the current Nero Fest rerun in JP: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-N8SVngG72hk.html 2. Always use her first skill turn 1. It has 120% uptime anyway. 3. Her third skill is just amazing. It turns Tamamo's 25% AoE charge into a 75% single target one, and Waver's 50% charge becomes 90%. And a single Castoria is enough to get her from 0% to 100% thanks to it. That being said, you need to be careful with when you use it since it can screw over secondary damage dealers or NP dependent supports. 4. As for her vs Fionn: I _think_ he still somewhat outdamages her thanks to his upgraded NP, but she has better refund, an up to 60% NP battery, and is also a crit servant on the side. He's probably slightly better in classic nodes with 3 waves that have 3 enemies each, while Melt handles 90+ nodes and CQs better. 5. Skill priorities should be as follows: 3rd skill to lvl 6 to unlock the 50% charge (2*25%) > 1st skill to 10 > 3rd skill to 10 > 2nd skill. Overall an insanely fun unit with a thoroughly unique gimmick that's both an advantage and a disadvantage at the same time. Top tier farmer and also _really_ good at tearing CQs a new one. Definitely one of the most interesting servants in the entire game in my -definitely not biased- opinion, and very much worth rolling for gameplay reasons alone. Also, penguins.
@@machinronii I saved up 500+ Quarts with 60+ Tickets to ensure I get her. outside of the gssr I don’t spend money on this game, if I fail to np5 her then she’s going to be the first servant I will ever bust out wallet-kun on
@@luckywizard_ i got around 500 SQ too, but I'm planning to throw around 200 on the first banner too, so I'm hoping to get her to at least np2 or 3 and then completing her next year, I'm also planning on getting her to lvl 100
With you there. I should be sitting around 750 quartz along with some tickets by the time she comes out. Will see if that’s good enough. Gotta get best penguin to as high an np level as I can.
Reason why to pull for Melt Lancer 1:She can loop Np when done right(even without Castoria) 2: She is so cute and amazing 3:It’s melt, of course she is worth rolling for I’m going to try to get her to Np 5 in NA(only able to np4 her in JP, and she is indeed amazing to use)
@@leemay3097 she can definitely loop, when done right, but some support will help. She is about the same level with Fionn,but 1 she is waifu , 2 she can take some. Np from her allies just in case if she doesn’t have enough and boost her attack while at it.

I want to finally roll for Merlin this summer, but Melt became one of my instant favorites thanks to the CCC event so she’s competing with him for who I want to prioritize. Summer Melt is one of my servants I'm rolling for this year in this loaded year, I already have load-in SQs after rolling for Da Vinci-chan to NP5, ready to NP5 her. I forgot Bunny Artoria and Summer Okita are in that banner, it's okay if I got at least a NP2 from them.
I just realized that Stheno is actually a useful support for both versions of Melt because of Stheno's Double Divine buff and that it's very well-known that her NP is kinda useless where Regular Melt's Melt Virus skill lowers her teammates NP damage which Stheno's NP is not affected and could combo with Regular Melt's NP while Swimsuit Melt's Melt Envy skill can drain Stheno's NP gauge which you can freely do it due to how bad her NP is and decided not to use it. So by virtue Stheno is useful support for both versions of Melt cause of how bad her NP is.
Best girl! I'm going all out for her on her solo rate up! You can also stack her 1st skill with double Tamamo, it sounds silly and probably not worth it lol Lack of damage? Sounds like someone isn't grailing her to 100. HERESY! Good S!
Spotlight time for my main target of Summer! If there’s anything the CCC re-run convinced me of it was that I need to summon every version of this girl. A really nice bonus that she’s suited for the looping future. An interesting kit that definitely suits her. Fingers crossed I’ll get lucky enough to walk away from summer with a nice np level.
Ya know, for all of BB's banter, lore-wise, sure, she's the most powerful of them, I guess, but Melt, twice now, seems to be the one with interesting and powerful skills (save for BB's Faceless Moon). Melt Virus and Melt Envy. Also, gotta say it, The April Fool's Art still hasn't disappointed me. Adorable.
The "high servant" skill is nothing more than a badge on this game and marks every servant that is made with 2 to 3 different spirit grahps, most of the time being from gods or ancient creatures
Gonna be going HARD on her banner. Screw Bunny king gimme all dem Melts to max grail! Although getting those eggs is going to be a nightmare since even itself only gives just 10.
Imagine being Fionn and having to live in the same planet as this beautiful Leviathan that just steals your role and buries you I love Melt but finding myself in a good position to roll for her in her past banner has been imposible Here's hoping i can get some Leviathans too among...well, everything else ~ summer events truly are the bane of all quartz, have mercy on me
Any servant voiced by Saori Hayami is a must! In case of Melt lancer, you'll not get one of the best Arts looper it also comes with the package of also getting one of the best waifus of the game. And there's her valentine voice line.
Hell, even MAOU nobbu has a territory skill so im actually surprised, though if i make a guess it's because the casters use the skill inside chaldea instead of making a field on site because resourses
It may have taken way too many quartz, but I did get her right to NP5. Definitely going to be one of my main farmers now and in the future. So I've got no complaints on giving just about everything to make that happen. Plus she was too waifu to actually hold back on trying to get as many copies as possible. Now can mostly turn the focus to Castoria next year.

I've had her for a while in JP. Got her last year when trying to get Summer Tomoe. Never thought to level her until now and I honestly regret not doing it earlier 😅😅. One of my favorite servants in fgo!
OKAY, you just convinced me. I am dumping ALL of my Saing Quartz on her Banner!! Not only will I have a good chance of getting Card Master Artoria and 3D Maneuver Gear *Summer Okita* _(take that at last, Nobu),_ but my favourite selfish super star will be the only 4* Servant of this Banner. _MEANING,_ I'll have very good chances of getting extra copies of her! She is my main target and I hope for at least NP3 as I also hope for some Carmilla and maybe a Musashi. I don't have tons of money to spend rn but I want her the most this year. Glad to hear that she is better than I expected.
I highly, highly recommend anyone rolling for her to np2 her. Her np1 dmg can be a little lacking, especially before Castoria. She is honestly a great unit that helped me a ton in JP, and hoping I can get her on NA before Merlin drains all of my SQ lol.

The thing about her is that she actually can have constant uptime on the first skill starting at level 6. With 5 turns of uptime and a 6-4 turn cooldown, you can even have it double proccing at level 10. It's a little bit crazy to think that it literally becomes a passive of hers

Yeah i decided to roll on Bunny Artoria banner. Summer Musashi and Merlin might bring more value to my lineup, but the pure waifu values from Bunny Artoria, Melt, and Okita is just too hard to pass up from me. Musashi and Merlin still has their rerun next year, so i can plan around that
Wow just got her too. I waited to roll on the last couple days because I was saving up my saint quartz & spent everything on the last banner for 5 star BB (Who I got on the last pull thank god) with only 120 saint quartz I got all the 4 stars but okita (the one I wanted the most of course) but now next year I can focus on the days where it's only her on rate up
I’ve tried summoning for a specific 4 star before. I got TWO Jeanne Archers before I got ONE Ibaraki Lancer. Sheesh. You’ll get a 5 star before you get anywhere near NP5.
