I recommend to turn your volume off then raise it lil by little until you get the right reading, works the same with the Tweeters. At least that worked for me.

Your tester is reading incorrectly because your volume is too high! What do you want to do is lower the volume and if the tester is not reading correctly just change the angle at which you are holding the tester at the speaker, Holding the tester at the right position is key! I was checking my little 1 inch tweeters in my dash and I could not get a good reading until I held the tester directly on top of the Tweeter!
Hello and thanks for watching. I had some extra time today to poke at the polarity tester and long story short having the volume at a higher rate increases the testers ability to read the sound clearer. I tested 2 of my vehicles and my test bench radio to see if having the volume higher or lower can give me a faulty reading. Again I learned that having the volume at to low of level will definitely increase the chances of a incorrect reading and a inconsistent reading threw the process. Again thanks for watching but I still stand by my decision of having the volume higher is best.
@@alhi6708 It will be a green, red, green, green sequence. Make sure you turn the volume up a good amount, that makes a big difference in accuracy to the tester.

If you have the option of using Bluetooth you can easily find a polarity tone on RU-vid, but as far as purchasing another polarity testing CD I couldn’t tell you. If the instructions were in English, I believe it would tell you in the track it changes from positive to negative throughout the track. But we are not given any proper instructions
