If your talking about the helicopter pilot then it's because he's an police officer and not some talking news head idiot that thinks he's doing a great job ! When I'm watching a news video I turn the volume off because it drives me crazy with how dramatic they sound !

I believe a new law in either Georgia or Florida will automatically confiscate your vehicle if you run from the cops even if they don't catch you that day. Excellent idea!

@@phoenixlee7949 Same as your GPS. the cross hairs propagate the full address or road of their location. It's displayed on their monitors not the video. Just like media air support for chases have the speed and roadways on the tv screen.

yes, as if every newscaster is jockeying to get the greatest narration or play-by-play, usually with a co-anchor babbling back in the studio.. They're seriously hard to listen to IMO.

YES! The narration from the air was infinitely better in my opinion. Somehow, it was actually MORE exciting.

Yes. I remember long before RU-vid there would be one of these pretty often, live, on KTLA TV in Los Angeles. The newscasters would blather away with unsupported opinions, misstatement of facts, and so forth. But I guess they had to fill the silence with something. One of the best spoofs of that was on a Two and a Half Men episode where a running gag is that everybody keeps calling the Porsche Boxter that Alan bought a "chic car." A drunk woman steals it, and there is the helicopter view on TV being chased by police. The newscaster "Trish" is talking to the helicopter reporter "Dale. ”Dale, this is Trish in the studio. Can you see the suspect? How do you know it's a woman?" "Well, Trish, we actually don 't know it's a woman... but thought it was a safe bet based on the type of car."

The cameras in the cruisers have wide angle lenses, which make the scene seem to be much faster than what is actually happening. For instance, something 100 feet away looks to be 200 feet away, so the perceived 200 feet is covered in the time that the actual 100 feet is covered, which doubles the perceived speed of the event.

If you saw the dash cam from yesterday, how the kid smiled after his theatrics in the back of the police car, you would know that’s a pipe dream. Kid is a psychopath.

It started as a hit and run one or 2 intersections before Air31 picks up on it.

I feel the same. I go 11 miles over the speed limit and lights immediately flashing behind me, meanwhile for the last 40 miles there was someone in the left hand lane not passing, holding up traffic and making everyone pass on the right (when or if the opportunity arose). 🤣 That’s the way it goes, I guess.

Some times life just takes a poo on random people, while giving a free pass to others. It happens.

Arkansas State Patrol does have its own cap to feather and they do a good job at it. Florida has to do next level stuff because Florida Man is real.
