So, dear viewers. Don't swear please, I understand that this video is not informative enough. This moment was uploaded right after the pile up happened (this video was uploaded in real time, actually 5 minutes after the event itself). More camera angles can be found here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bxLTyeY0PL8.html and also you will see absolutely all the accidents from this grand prix.
@@skrappamts417 yeah we know that. but is the material worth more than normal material? we care about F1. take the fucking shell off this one. also these cars have nice full size dashboards. yeah they are really trying to cut the weight.
Of course it does not, when then they would not race there. This is so rare to happen and so they did not expect to it happen, when hundreds of times raced there without collision like that, but in this race one guy hit the wall and so the butterfly effect started and so thats why this video get so much attention, when not in long time seen this kind of hugh collision in this motorsport.
@@Jie-Xiu No one's fault. The first guy crashed, the Mercedes behind him saw it right after and managed to maneuver his way past him but the car behind (no.911) didn't have any field of view and couldn't spot the Mercedes that was on the wall so he had no way to avoid contact, everything beyond that was a butterfly effect and no one could've done anything to save the day.
@Joe if you are really looking for the fault, it is the one who selected or agreed to this kind of track. It is always been a major cascading accidents waiting to happen. One driver that will take too slow of a turn or crashed and the fooling car didn't manage to see it due to blind spots and narrow turn, it will be just lead to this no matter what. Maybe the last few cars may survived after they have been informed, but mostly it's too late.
I remember watching this. This is my first time watching a GT race. I remember changing the channel exactly on the on-board part. I did not know how to react that time since I could not believe what happened, and I cannot forget the line "Oh mayhem! And there's Millions and millions and millions of dollars of damage here at the Mighty Macao!"
@@MMAGurusMom-zm3tn Apparently, the race (quali) was suspended. I do not know much about that race as much as F1, but the red flag was waved. I think there were only 4 cars who avoided that collision since they were leading the race. But other than them, the rest were involved.
they werent even waving the flag when the porsche was about to go through when that mercedes was on the side. stupid authorities not doing their job as well.
1:43 I've never seen such a wonderful scene in the history of car racing. the greatest scene of all time. If I were to pick the best scene in the car race, I would pick this scene.
@@WonderingFrog did i say its fake? No, do you understand what the world "click bait" means? You've been seeing alot of fake ass thumbnail thats why you think clickbait are for only a fake thumbnail that arent in the video... pls search before commenting other's
False. There will be extra work but no extra jobs. There's savings and profits to made here. We can see with the pandemic that even if the whole world is in need of vaccins, the production have not increase at all. No jobs or so few have been created. And all the profit would be share with minimu hands. It's pointless to be optimistic in a liberal world, it can only led to disapointment with its so selfish values.
Just saw something similar happen at the NASCAR Street Race in Chicago on 7-2-2023. Very light damage but there were a lot of comparisons for sure. And it was pretty funny to watch too.
@@Spherehead123 I know, but things happening in the thumbnail are sometimes fake or not always included in the video itself. Using a random picture that has nothing to do with the video is considered as a click bait. And in this case, I'm just happy it wasn't one. :)
That does not qualify as terrible. Just couple of cars got some damage, no fires no deaths. Watch nascar crashes, thats some terrible shit for you. (yes the smiling flagboy is funny nonetheless)
Where do you even over take on this track? Looked like most of the track is not even wide enough for 2 cars I am shocked this doesn't happen everytime they race here lol
Sauce Boss More like when the track designers think go-carts are going to race. It's just one more reason that coke-fiends should not be race car track designers.
They wait for Race Control to call it and control a lot of times forget about it, since they are running about trying to recover the scene, not saying it's acceptable, just stating what happens most of the time.
@Sandy Lee emm you do know that the red flag has to be called by control and in control has to be called by the race director or the clerk right? It takes time, it happened relatively fast.
@Sandy Lee not really, just gave you my opinion as a race control official of 9 years on many international races, you can take it however you want to as is your right. Cheers
Falling Pictures Productions it’s starting to get old. The F3 race was absolutely amazing but the TC race was ruined but bad drivers, and the GT race is always ruins by a barrier because the cars are too big.
Yeah, there are bad crashes, because drivers are not used to narrow tracks, because 95% of the world tracks are very wide. Otheriwse there would be not problem with this circuit.
Falling Pictures Productions I know a Gt race has always been here, but they never should have made it the GT world cup, its embarrassing. Manufacturers spending all this money to represent themselves at a track that has no chance of overtaking at all. What does winning this race even mean? Last Audi won because they crashed smh.
Falling Pictures Productions A crash with two or more cars involved, any type of cars, will block a street circuit. It’s not exclusive to GT. Touring cars had this issue last year.
It’s weird that in 2017 they didn’t have enough cameras to follow every angle of a race. I get that they need camera operators, but they should have unmanned fixed position cameras too.
And I just laugh at all this idiots... they could have spent it on something useful. Car racing should be put to racing simulation games. fk this pollution and waste of ressources.
they wave the flags to warn drivers of accidents yellow meaning caution to where they can still ride around the track at a set speed and red meaning they have to completely stop i have no idea why they kept waving the flags since the entire field was wrecked with only 4 cars making it through and i assume they had a pretty good idea the track was a mess
