Fiat 600 Multipla 

Fond memories of mine in high school , I found a model I keep on one of my shelves at home .

I remember these on a visit to Rome in 1965. Family of five. My parents in the rear seats, my two older sisters in the jump seats and me, the youngest and smallest in front beside the driver.

Beautiful looking car. I find this more attractive than anything Fiat makes today. Judging by its size, it looks like it could seat 4 adults and some luggage in between the driver and the rear seat passengers. Or, it could seat six adults. I'd buy one if its condition was right, it was driveable, parts were available to keep the car running and driving safely.

Rare cars these days. I always look out for them when watching foreign films' but there is one American (?) film about soldiers in Italy chasing local girls where one is used by all as a taxi, as u say

Swap for an 850 engine. Then it doesn't creep up the hills with 6 on Board.

I wonder if there would be enough room in the front to convert to either electric or hydrogen...very cool thanks for sharing.

Did build Zastava the Multipla too ?
