Greetings from Germany. This method worked fine and well on my Fait Panda 2009. It was important for my car lock to sand and grind the metal beam or metal pin (you see this part it in the video) very well and more like in the video (so 1 or 2 millimeter). I cleaned all parts and put new lubricant / grease on the parts. The car lock works now great and like new. Thanks for your help!!! 🙂🙂🙂 Grüße aus Deutschland. Diese Methode hat sehr gut bei meinen Fiat Panda 2009 funktioniert. Bei meinen Autoschloss war es wichtig den Metallbalken (siehe im Video) stärker nachzusleifen (ca. 1-2 mm). Anschließend habe ich alle Teile gereinigt und neu eingefettet. Das Schloss arbeitet nun wie neu. Danke für deine Hilfe!!!

Thanks Flip Keys for this. I fixed my Panda 4x4 in about an hour. £380 for the three new locks from Fiat plus fitting and then coding. So a dealer bill to pay on top of that. You have saved me over £500. Note that newer plastic housings have the lock barrel in up-side-down relative to your aluminium housing. This means pressing with the screwdriver to release the barrel is done at the top of the housing. I just ground down the bar to compensate for wear, without removing any worn parts that interface with the key. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for saving me the money but most of all the buzz that I fixed the lock easily making such a difference to my car - with your advice.

any chnce you could come and have a look at my fiat bravo.. same thing happeneed so i forced the key to turn and now the key turns all the way but there is no further switch to make the car start i think the ignotion swith is gone.. any ideas from anyone or someone that could come take a look

if we remove all pins/levers in barrel, does the car start. new barrel will take 10 days to deliver so need to start the car

Nunca façam isso nem deixe que façam no seu carro esse trabalho, pois isso não é um reparo, isso danifica e torna o cilindro sem segurança , fazendo com que qualquer chave funcione.

you removed the two wafers. How about replacing them? You now made the lock 25% less secure.
