Follow this link and make a secure simple one off payment and buy me a coffee, Its that easy and I really love coffee, www.buymeacoffee.com/PuntoHowTo while you're there say Hi or leave me a message.
succesfully did it. i've put normal bulbs as the chrome ones are quite expensive.techinally with less than 20 pounds i've replaced front back and side bulbs.
Thanks. At 4:00 we can see the 'cloth wrapping' of the wire is coming loose. That seems to be normal at the ends of all the wiring of these cars of that age.
Very normal on any car that the tape unwraps a bit after a few years, and loses its stick. You can buy replacement fabric tape easy enough and I bought some for my recent mk1 project
excelente aporte para quienes no saben cambiar la bombilla, tambien podrias utilizar un vinilo color amarillo o naranja para tener un resultado diferente, saludos desde Argentina.
Hi so helpful as I need to do mine, I love the colour of your evo, I have a silver grey colour evo and I’m always fixing it🙃so I actually could do with being shown how to fix the light up part where the heater temp is shown (i have no clue how to explain but where you turn the heater on and what temp you want I can’t see any of it in the dark) if you could do a video on this I’d be very grateful thanks!!
Thanks Kiera, changing the bulbs in the controls is fairly easy, but you need to pop the radio out to get to the back of the controls and go the screws. If I get the chance I will eventually make a video but there isn’t much time these days to do these things and I have other videos already in the planning
Very helpful Video would not of guessed that the indicator access panel was in the wheel arch .Have you replaced a cam belt as that's another job that I need to do
Hi great work you are doing but have a question for if you do not mind and that is has anybody done a video on how to change the cambelt I am getting a punto grande next week anyway thanks
This is the 1.6 multijet diesel, it probably needs a new cambelt, and I have planned to do it soon but it’s not going to be the same as a cambelt on any other grande or Evo that doesn’t have this engine, the 1.6 is somewhat unique as it was only sold for a couple of years between 2009 and 2011
great video’s, i have a question; i just bought my first GP 1.4 T-jet 120HP. and now i smell a burned gasoline smell in the car..... and i only smell it when i pull the windows down or when iam waiting for a traffic light. i was looking on your account for some information but couldn’t find something... so the question is do you maybe know if this is normal or that there is a serious problem.
It’s hard to say what exactly is going on, but it could be you have a fuel leak or it could be you have unburnt fuel getting into the exhaust, the way that could happen is by the engine running badly. You could if you have tools look at the spark plugs and change them, the other thing is your car being a turbo could have a problem with the turbo
PuntoHowto i found the problem, last owner installed a staight pipe and removed the middle damper. but there are some leaks in the pipe connection. but that beside i have a different problem atm....... i have a hill holder and abs fault. and sometime when i ride quite fast i smell a different smell in the car. smells a little to melting rubber...🙄🙄
Hello there! Does your Punto has the reading light on the passenger side, hided on the sun protector? If yes, could you kindly send a photo to me? Mine does not have it, so I bought from a junk yard to install, but I am not sure if is possible to install. Appreciate your help on this, thank you in advance
No it doesn’t have a light there, I’m not sure this was something ever fitted to the Evo models or older, I can’t comment on all newer cars but after the Evo fiat started to cut costs and reduce the number of extras and gadgets
PuntoHowto Unfortunately,I am from Turkey. But I can find here, online market.I thougt to replace these bulbs last year, but I couldnt find any replaced fotos. Thanks for detailed video
Nope access to the fog light is via the front, look above the fog light there is a little screw you need to remove then the plastic surround comes off, then You can unscrew the fog lamp to get to the back of it
hi I have a punto evo 2010 . my side lights located in the main beams not working. where can I find the fuse? I did check all the fuses located under t bonnet and beneath the locker in side the car. don't know what to do. please advice?
I have now not had this car for over a year so I can't check, but I remember there was a setting in the dash for turning on and off day time running lights.
Hallo my friend.. i am from germany i drive GP sport.. and i want to change the tacho but i can't find any videos online how to do it.. I did almost everything on my car alone.. but this is little bit different becouse there is nothing on the web about it.. can u maybe help? Tnx and sorry for my bad english 😉
What’s your reason for wanting to change it ? On any car it’s normally a straightforward job, the main problem will be your milage being incorrect and your car needing to be programmed to accept the new unit.
@@PuntoHowto i already did abarth evo bodykit ( both bumpers, sideskirts, those platic above the wheels marginal extensions i dont know what are they called and abarth seats).. i have abarth tacho now and i want to put it also
The grande should be a simple swap? It’s just a case of removing screws and electric plugs to take it out and put the new one in, it’s really the reprogramming the car to work with it and getting the correct mileage adjustment done on it that requires any technical skills. If you’ve already don’t the work you have then it should be no problem for you to take a few screws out. As I have an Evo and the dash board is different I’m not sure I could give you much information on how to do this specifically in your car
