Walk the Blue Fields looks great. ❤ I’ve heard amazing things about The Dollhouse. 😊 The Secret History. 🎉 also, the Book of Night Women. And Einstein’s Dreams! Oh goodness. So many books look delightful. ❤
Some interesting choices! The Accidental Tourist was my favorite book in the year I read it, and made Anne Tyler a favorite novelist. It’s sweet, sad, funny, just so, so good!
Good vote! It’s in the 20s- single digits overnight so ice on roads here- no schools. Think it’s colder at my parents in hill country - whole country is too cold this week!
I absolutely love Mr Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore, read it twice and have a signed copy! I know a lot of people don't like it, though, so I'm a bit nervous about recommending it, but since you already have it... 😁 I'll also give a vote to Before the Coffee Gets Cold and The Secret History, because I'm excited to read those myself.
I don’t even remember where I picked that book up but someone had reviewed it positively that I normally agree with what they liked so will see- all good choices! Thanks 😊
Thanks 😊 I had tried to tag you in a video and now I realize there isn’t a “Ed” it’s just the d in your name if that makes sense- I was like - why can’t I tag her?? And of course now I don’t even remember which video that was but know I appreciate you 😊
I’m curious about mr penumbras 24 hour bookstore and walk the blue fields so those would be my picks for one and two! The mountain between us is a good one, I really enjoyed it.
For YOU I would pick Alaska by James Michener. But I would like you to read (and I think you would enjoy): The Mountain Between Us by Charles Martin. It’s different than the movie. Runner Up. The Accidental Tourist by Anne Tyler.
The Husband's Secret is far and away my number one vote from your choices. Number two would be Saturday and number three is The Secret History. It was hard to narrow it down! :)
If we were villains is a hard pass for me. That book was sooo boring. The Tattooist of Auschwitz is really good. I have The Orphan Train, but haven’t read it yet.
