Thats a great question. I did include the air root in the planted but not sure if it helped.. because no new roots formed off the air root. Maybe it did help keep the cutting hydrated. Thank you for asking and thank you for watching

Thank you for asking. The benefit to removing the graft is that the tree will look more natural over time. No horticultural benefit tho. Grafts create trunk markings where the connection is made, and are always usually visible. This tree had two grafts, and both were and eye sore.

It is not necessary or beneficial for the health of the tree. It is an aesthetic choice .. do you like the top of your tree? There are no guarantees the tree will survive a pruning/cutting operation. Plant the tree in a deep pot, leave about a year and then once you have the long roots developed you can re-pot in a less deep pot to get this effect

Its a beeswax salve. I dont recommend it on ficus. latex based sealers are more accepted by ficus.

Ficus microcarpa or known has ficus ret7sa and chinese fig😊

its no secret. beeswax salve. i would not recommend on ficus tho bec rubber latex is far superior.
