Field hospital in Rafah 

Over the past eight months, civilians have bore the brunt of the escalation of hostilities in Gaza.
Pregnant women are going without regular check-ups. Children are not getting the nutritious food they need to support their physical and mental growth.
The Canadian Red Cross, in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and several other National Societies, and with funding from the public and Government of Canada, has opened the ICRC Field Hospital in Rafah.
With the local health care system on the brink of collapse, the hospital is welcomed by people who haven’t been able to access a doctor in months.
