So really it's more of an overview. Due to time constraints I wasn't able to play with this, but I did get to shoot it, and it's pretty great. What's to like, or not? Watch!

Dave, Thanks for the honest review. Our number one goal in designing the Force was to be soft on paint. As you know, being able to shoot brittle paint without breaks in the barrel is often the difference between winning and losing. We recently observed this at the NXL World Cup where Dynasty was able to shoot brittle paint that our competitors were unable to. We look forward to evolving as a company, creating more interesting and dynamic products, and providing excellent customer service. Alex Fraige

I can attest to the amazing customer service of Field One and Alex Fraige. I ended up snapping off my pillow face during maintenance (like an idiot), I called up Field one and Alex took care of me and had a complete bolt head to me free of charge. I use to play for one of their competitors factory teams, and I couldnt even get a free spare rechargable battery to replace one that couldnt hold a charge, or even eye ribons for that matter. Field one is S tier when it comes to customer service! Wish other companies and Private labels would take note.

People may disagree but I care most about 1. Reliability. 2. Soft on paint. I don't care if there are screws on the eye covers or grips. If I don't break paint, I don't have to clean them often. The extra 3 minutes of time to clean when I get home is NBD for me. I only half care about ergonomics. They're all comfortable enough. The likelihood of you playing better because of the shape of a grip is literally 0. Just don't break down and don't break paint.

This gun is perfect. The Dynasty boys said they put 800,000 shots through the gun without a single problem and no ball breaks. So there's no reason to change anything, you won't need to open the eye covers or anything like that. The only way this gun could improve is a little bit slimmer/sexier imo.

With the geometry of having a paintball have no play inside the breach, do you think that could be an issue for bigger paint like field or swollen paint? That’s the only reason I think the other brands have that amount of room. Just for the different sizes of paint. Could be way off here.

At 2lbs 5.3oz it's heavier than my Vcom at 2lbs 3oz. Looking forward to the next iteration on the Force. Hopefully it will be lighter with better looking milling and a foregrip that doesnt look stupid. The Force in its current iteration is very ugly IMO. I would like for it to go back to it's Marq/Victory roots for aesthetics.

The bob Long victory was a great looking gun, but Bob Longs manufacturing tolerances were subpar and having to use Dow 55 to compensate for tolerances being off was not a good thing. If Field One can go back to those nice designs with their superior manufacturing would be great. Also they could go back to battery on the grip frame rather the on the front grip frame,and make it wireless charging. People don't really care if two batteries could be used on front grip and grip frame. Just putting the battery on one side and making it wireless charging would be awesome.

Thank You for a Very Good Review, I was just wondering about how Cars decline with usage in Speed and Power, and the thought came to me about Paintball Guns with the Distance they shoot > Before Curving downwards ? all being the same Velocity, of course, after all , the straighter the shot would be more accurate, I love the Bob Long Guns and have a G6R ( main Gun ) along with 17 different other Guns, I notice the difference , maybe someone could do a Vid >> I Have what was Bob Longs Favourite = G6R and it would put to Shame how many Pods of Paint that Guns at the moment shoot, Bob Got 22 Pods from ONE air Fill and it`s all on Video to prove it

@GoodmanPasta
@GoodmanPasta 3 года назад
It’s great with paint handling, but the Force is on another level compared to the top markers in terms of being soft on paint. The Force can shoot brittle paint that the CS2, Luxe X, and other high end markers have trouble shooting
@axledog7297
@axledog7297 3 года назад
@@GoodmanPasta I know Dave mentioned it, but the breech/feedtube/detent/bolt face geometry really does stand out to me as the largest contributor. The annular bolt face that BL has used for at least the past ten years is an excellent design in how it distributes the pressure pulse across the face, as well as reducing impact forces on the contact patch. Nothing particularly fancy was done to the bolt speed/force if you really analyze how the bolt functions. The bolt acceleration profile isn't staged and the forward force is fairly high for reliability. It handles paint as well as it does due to the other reasons I mentioned. PE and MacDev do a nice job at locating paint well in the breech, as well as face design to prevent clipping. DLX/SP breech and bolt designs really leave much to be desired if you look at them the same way. -Professor ;)

That thing is a half engineered Bob Long Insight. It’s a motor upgrade, kinda, from a Bob Long Insight that was abandoned halfway through development because Bob jumped out of the sport and had to sell his company suddenly. Then it was “finished” by someone else and put on the market for a crazy price tag. Besides the motor, what else is it? Everything is the same…. hell my Insight has the 4C laser eyes also, just some different milling, slightly different motor/bolt, batteries and re-arranged regulator.. I bought an Insight slightly used for $400, this thing is what.. $1,600? That’s bull. These teams are bummed about “working so hard” and not being paid for it like in other sports such as Baseball or something, so… they’re making YOU pay their salary by overcharging you for this marker that’s made by a company that’s owned by a team. You’re not getting a $1,600 marker, you’re getting an $800 marker and then paying the members of Dynasty to play “professional paintball”, don’t fool yourself. There is a reason they dumped support for all of Bob’s old markers, they don’t get $$$ for it. This “force” brings them money. Look how long Tom Kaye supported the Automag and everything else Airgun Designs made, but a 10 year old marker Field 1 says “sorry Charlie, buy a Force!”….
@IconProduction01
@IconProduction01 3 года назад
I wish you would consider filming your shooting footage from a better angle so we can see what you're shooting at, like an over the shoulder style camera angle where it's behind your back and offset a few feet off to the right side so your body is in the left edge of the frame and your target or aimpoint is somewhat centered in the shot. Currently with just those side on viewpoints you like to use there's no way for us to try and gauge the accuracy of each gun you test out. That side view only allows us to see you pulling the trigger, which really doesn't show us anything other than each gun's kick and their fire rates. Please consider playing with your camera angle when shooting so we can see what you're shooting at, as it also just kind of feels unnatural too for some reason to watch somebody shooting a gun while not being able to see down range.
@shoebradley
@shoebradley 3 года назад
I can understand the want for an over the shoulder shooting vid, but it doesn't accomplish much in the way of showing how accurate any gun is, because paintball guns aren't inherently more or less accurate than another one
@IconProduction01
@IconProduction01 3 года назад
@@shoebradley I heard him claim this too, but I have no idea where you guys are getting this notion from... There are def. differences in accuracy between various makes and models not just from barrel diameter compared to the paint being used, but also length of barrels being compared and even porting with twist, non-twist, etc. Moving on from the barrel between guns you have the gun's and its attached regulator's ability to put as close as possible to the same volume of air behind each shot that's being fired, which on some guns can really go south the faster the gun is being fired which is when you see the occasional wild flier every 10 balls or so as certain guns can hitch up sometimes when being pushed to its limits and put more/less air than normal behind certain shots. If there's no difference in accuracy between different paintball guns, then why does Auto cocker claim to be the "most accurate paintball gun design" because it doesn't utilize a bolt which physically touches each ball as they're being fired? That reminds me that differences in bolt designs effect gun performance and accuracy between brands too. A bolt's overall design as showcased here, a bolt's weight, metal vs. Delrin, porting on the bolt head, etc. will def. also effect accuracy between guns, otherwise why was upgrading to Delrin bolts back in the late 90s and early 2000s when I mostly played always being touted as one of the more worthwhile upgrades for most guns on the market? I owned a few of the classic guns back in the day including an Indian Creek Design Bushmaster which had a clearly noticeable improvement in accuracy when upgraded from its stock shorter barrel to a longer Dye Boomstick. If swapping between different barrel designs and lengths can alter accuracy alone, then how can you claim that completely differently engineered guns with all kinds of different barrels, bolts, regulators, etc. all somehow have the same accuracy.. That's just not correct flat out to claim somehow all paintball guns have the same accuracy. Why does Tippman sell the flatline barrel system if it would have no effect on the gun's accuracy and range? But I thought all paintball guns are identically accurate? But they don't all come stock with the same barrels let alone other components, so which one is it do barrels have no effect on performance at all or do all brands and models on the market today all come stock out of the box with the same exact barrel giving "all paintball guns the same accuracy"?
@axledog7297
@axledog7297 3 года назад
@@IconProduction01 You're muddying up a very simple concept centered around physics 101. Quit letting all of these "variables" interfere with the basic Newtonian principles and you'll have a much better understanding of what *accuracy* actually is. And remember folks, a ball traveling at X velocity will travel in the same trajectory as another ball traveling at X velocity regardless of marker, barrel, etc etc.
@shoebradley
@shoebradley 3 года назад
@@IconProduction01 www.zdspb.com/tech/misc/barrels.html this article does a good job of breaking down the variables associated with paintball barrel accuracy. I believe the second or third paragraph states for the most part, all aftermarket barrels offer about the same "accuracy". You are correct in terms of how the markers interact with paintball as being variables and how that could affect accuracy, but most of that has been debunked as hogwash. Cockers are not inherently more accurate because they are a closed bolt system. That used to be a thought process, but testing has shown otherwise. Yes different markers use different systems to interact with the paintball, but at the end of the barrel its all basically the same
