Actually the last few DM models had LPRs and worked a little differently. When they went to this M Series they dropped the HPR pressure but got rid of the LPR.
Iv core+sfr=wonderful shot. I liked the geo 3.5 but the solenoids were my issue and mine died, the geo 4 solves the noid issue, adds some new ergo's, gives you a modern platform with a tunable shot, runs on cheaper batteries than D's, and makes it altogether a more solid platform. Would've been cool to see some colored grip kits like the geo 3.5 but oh well.
I really like the Syx. The screen is the weakest part and from experience there was once I accidently had the gun on outside the field and shot a ball into my barrel cover which was more embarrassing than anything. It would probably be wishful thinking for Empire to release a new drop in screen that was proper bright. Especially now the gun is going on 5 years old
Just now swinging back into the sport, im seeing these go for as low as $499 for the Syx 1.5 and PE 170r's for about $750 (both new prices), would you say this is a better value than the 170r or would it be worth it to oay the extra little bit for the PE?
Why does everyone overlook Automags? I've been playing since the 90's and I recently got back into paintball. The first thing I did after playing a few days with a brand new electric gun was build 2 Automags and buy a few cheap Spyders and Piranhas to fix up. They are so much more fun.
LOVE my Syx! I have a PE 170R with ST3 bolt, & I'd rather use my Syx. For me, it fits my hands so much better & the board is much better even though it isn't as bright. If I could change anything, I'd add the beeps to the board that my Axe Pro & Redline equipped Axe 2.0 have.
Thanks for the vid. Quality stuff as usual. Consider making a booklet by punching a hole through one corner of the cards and using a zip tie to hold together.
These things pretty much need tape on the foregrip and benfit more from a deuce than probably any other marker because it addresses the main reason you gave for disliking the stock trigger, that it just doesnt sit far enough forward in the frame and feels awkward unless you claw it. With a deuce and some tape on the foregrip, they're really great shooting, super light and very pretty markers.
I just bought a used force. Its a fancy colorway dynasty edition. I own a few Bob guns,so i picked this over a cs3. So im pretty familiar with that poppy shot... Even tho i havent shot this force 1 yet. Anyway , your gun reviews are top notch sir.
Just picked up a ir2 over the dye ltr and im glad i did . Its just simple ,easy and gonna do the job everytime. Its the definition of " if it's not broke don't fix it" .
Thank You for a Very Good Review, I was just wondering about how Cars decline with usage in Speed and Power, and the thought came to me about Paintball Guns with the Distance they shoot > Before Curving downwards ? all being the same Velocity, of course, after all , the straighter the shot would be more accurate, I love the Bob Long Guns and have a G6R ( main Gun ) along with 17 different other Guns, I notice the difference , maybe someone could do a Vid >> I Have what was Bob Longs Favourite = G6R and it would put to Shame how many Pods of Paint that Guns at the moment shoot, Bob Got 22 Pods from ONE air Fill and it`s all on Video to prove it
Absolutely amazing and honest reviews…. Best paintball info there is… period! I know this marker is brand new… but I would love to get your perspective on the 180R!
