Hi, it's traditional to wear a tie when shooting winged game in the UK...I suppose the exception is wildfowling...but for a day on pheasants, partridges and grouse the guns will normally wear a tie.

Perhaps a Ferari MacNab, but not a true MacNab which demands a Red Deer, a brace of Grouse and a Salmon all within one day. Short of a Grouse you tool 2 days longer than required, but I’ll forgive you for the use of the prancing horse. As someone who has followed you from the beginning, this is the best film you've done yet guys - well done :)

I am a man of honour and restraint. Having carefully considered your comments, and the manner in which you bought the delicate issue to my attention, I have decided to remove it. Its all good fun, Ferrari got some You tube time and lest face it its a fun car to drive no doubt. Hunting in the UK is not a cheap sport by any way you wish to consider it, also dittos for the grouse and salmon fishing. And well about 5000 dollars worth of Blaser R-8 and scope.

And I am more of an old landie type guy so do not get me wrong, we are definitely of the same opinion on the whole bling thing but what I just wanted to say was that some people enjoy cars and even possibly bling ;) but we enjoy shooting and it is not very pleasant, as I am sure you guys in oz are aware, when you are on the receiving end of negative commentary so I just was pointing out my moto of live and let live! But I totally understand where you are coming from.

When the presenters give a whispered commentary during a stalk ect would it be possible to put subtitles on the screen, I'm not deaf but it is difficult to make out what's being said especially when there's background noise and I'm sick of winding the volume up and down.

Yes, I agree with your point and apologise for any offence. However, the user in question has created a profile to hide behind and is just pursuing a personal vendetta against Simon regardless of the facts at hand - in my book this makes him/her a moron. He/she has questioned Simon's knowledge and experience and called for him to be 'fired' whatever that means. I've offered a number of times for them to step forward and compare his/her experience, but the troll is still hiding under the bridge

Ian. I understand your position in defending Mr Simon Barr ..... God knows, I have muffed the odd shoot myself while hunting, fortunately not viewed by 20,000 world wide. However, I don't think you further your case, by calling any viewer a moron. Give the viewers some credit, any thinking person reading these posts, will see any hidden agendas or undertones, and judge them accordingly. FSB really needs to consider all aspects of the footage, before putting to air.

Or if the presenter is whispering either turn down the narrator or maybe have him talk less? I have to say this is about the only complaint I have about your vids. I'll turn up the volume to here the whispering then the narrator will blast my whole house, then just as I panic mute the video the presenter whispers something. Rinse and repeat :P

Seriously, afraid of you? Give me a break. I'll happily stand next to hunter in the world and discuss considered and experienced opinion - but it's very difficult to give credence to someone who hides behind a fake persona. Why should I consider you views when you're not man/woman enough to present the real you? It's easy to criticise others from a position of anonymity. He who casts the first stone...

Na ...... More of a Land Cruiser type of guy. Interesting prospective you present, I think it might be more of a cultural thing. Hunting in my country, is more about pest control, or putting food on the table. Like most Aussies, I have a healthy disrespect for Bling and other vulgar displays of wealth, we tend to focusing more on practical application.
