Yes just how good is this RT330 REVO Stage 4 turbo kit on our Fiesta ST? ... Finally this will be answered with our full drive and review Video we hope you enjoy.

Because I know Dale at Clive Atthowe tuning in Norwich (Norfolk) very well I was able to get a mega price, I paid circa £3000 (because I fitted it myself with him) but it’s likely to run around 4-4.5k fully fitted but if you go with the basics it could be had for less. For the performance your getting it’s well worth it, it’s insane the performance it gives. Arthur 242630 standard at the moment, apparently 350bhp is the safe limit if a motor is well looked after, 400bhp is possible but really shouldn’t chance it at those levels :-)

fantastic review really enjoyed watching it, iv got a stage 2 st180 myself and am weighing up my options on what big turbo kit to go for and this just might have swayed me. Car seems an absolute animal on boost.

It really is but it’s not anything too silly which I like as Revo has made it so drivable with such a lovely map/tune, very very useable power band! not a problem mate its good to see such a well informed review, and you really get the sense of how good the car is from your reactions. my nearest revo place is demon performance centre in middlewich so thats the place id probably have to use, Norfolk is about 4 hours from where i live. definately looking forward to seeing a few more videos on this and hopefully you get some having a play with some other motors.

Retroboost83 thank you so much fella again. That sounds like a plan then as yeah that’s a little far for sure. Do you ever hit any Trackdays? Where is your nearest track? I ask as I’m always at circuits on either Trackdays or racing in a championship so if I’m ever down and out in my racecar come say hi or if I’m in my ST etc or any other car you’d be welcome to come out in them 👌😎👍

not a problem iv only ever done a couple around 6-7 years ago but its something iv always wanted to get into, i also have a 1990 fiesta rs turbo as my other toy (the st180 is used daily mostly by the wife). my nearest tracks are donington and oulton par, would defo come to say hi if i know what dates your racing etc

You really should it's so much fun, i love 1990 RS turbos, proper little mechanical bit of fun that =) I race at both of those circuits, i race at Donington on the 6th April and at Oulton Park on the 27th July so yeah definitely come down and say hello =) would be great to see you =)

Hi Alex. Fantastic videos. My girlfriend drives through Needham each day for work. Her little Ford Ka isn't able to give it the beans around there like what your monster Fiesta can! Anyway, I am thinking about getting a Mk7 Fiesta ST and was wondering if you would be so kind to give me your thoughts on Mountune's MR230 Power Upgrade Kit? Hi Alex, in your first review of the RT330 turbo there were comments about compressor surge.Have you guys managed to solve the compressor surge?This is the comment that I am referring too: "Actually that is surge on the inlet of the turbo itself because Turbotechnics/Revo didn't machine a surge port in the compressor cover. There is a surge pocket on the inlet of the turbo for the integrated BOV to release into however the air being drawn into the turbo is going into this pocket and causing turbulence because it has nowhere to go. The compressor cover should have surge ports machined on the throat of the inlet going to the compressor wheel."

Gustav Jacobs tbh I’ve had a word with a few tuners and I feel most is unfair and unnecessary, I can’t see how Revo would have developed this turbo and allowed that. Basically at times you will get a chirp that is accustomed with a kinda of sound of surge, you get it every now and again but never regularly. I have my doubts over its authenticity and if these comments are justifiable. From what I’m told and I would agree it’s normally due to restrictions somewhere in some people’s system ie like mine with the smaller cross over pipe etc. Some tuners are starting to not just strongly recommend deep core intercooler and the larger cross over pipe and actually only installing these kits with those two extra mods. I will be putting both these above extra mods on very soon and doing a separate video soon. One things for sure is for me it’s not effecting anything that’s Noticeable for me as this thing is a rocket ship and an absolute weapon :-)

At 17:30 you can hear that surging. TT, who manufactures these told us it was designed without the antisurge port. I’ve personally spoken with the calibrator for the rt330 software and he basically told me how to minimize that surging. What seems to work for us over in the US is keeping the boost a bit lower until around 4k. It feels like linear power, which I’m actually happy with for the time being lol

Daryl rabara-brokate if there is it seems to be intermittent and very rare thankfully, all I know is this kit work/ super well and I’ll reserve total judgement until I put the bigger crossover pipe on and bigger/deeper intercooler. I’ve also asked owner companies/owners etc and nothing seems to be causing anyone I know any problems at this point

I also have the RT330 kit installed and it was done via a Revo approved dealer. My surge is consistent and I have done quite a few tests. On my car you can hear the surge the best when you e.g. drive in 3rd gear and you floor the throttle from about 3000 rpm. The surge will then be best heard till about 5000 rpm. This happens in any gear and it is not intermittent. I have recorded a 50 seconds video on this and I have put it on my youtube channel. The sound quality of my video is really bad, but with earphones you should be able to hear the surge.I am very satisfied with the power and driveability with the new turbo, but I am worried about the reliability of the turbo when the surge is consistent there when you floor the throttle.

Hello fella, Absolutely yes as long as no hardware has been changed it’s just essentially another new software change and you can go straight to Revo stage 2 without a problem, the other map/flash tune will just be changed effectively. A bit of a long one but i would love to get your opinion . I am nearly 21 and gonna start my 3rd year of driving and i'm still stuck with my 1.0T as any "hot hatch" is uninsurable for me. For my 1.0 , no mods declared i pay 1k, i have phoned and shopped around everywhere and that's the cheapest i could get. Now a STOCK fiesta st starts at 1.6k+ so modded to stage 2+ or something crazy like yours where its stage 4 is probably impossible. Do i have to wait till im 25 to fully get the hot hatch experience as i can't afford to pay so much for insurance. Thanks for taking time to read this.

Mr Studio it really depends where you live etc but normally insurance goes down a good bit when you hit 21 so you should see a good drop then. I had my first hot hatch when I was around 22 but it was a fair bit but you’ll see an amazing drop at 25. As long as you careful and don’t get points you should see a great drop as I said at 21. We’re having a meeting with a company at Autosport about looking to get a Peak Performance Reviews discount code for insurance, stick around and sub and I’ll try and let you all know about that. My Fiesta ST is £900 this year to insure with 1 non fault accident (no claim). I'm 22. I got it when i was 20 and it was only £857 to insure. Definitely get some quotes from the likes of adrian flux & brentacre & green light on a modified fiesta ST. You may find modified insurance is cheaper (mine is).

I have to declare theft too although the accident happened in a nearby town with NO claim being made and police recovering the car. I did phone adrian flux and green light for my non modified car and the prices were very expensive compared to what i was able to achieve with my current provider.

mmm nice video man fantastic car. Now i'm at stg2pro peron and i was looking for a hybrid turbo!! question what exhaust system do you have? whats the pipe diameter? i have now a scorpion 3'' resonated downpipe and cat back but its too noisy in open roads. Lots of drone for my ears :(

gio dos thanks fella, this turbo kit is amazing. The exhaust used is a 3” custom manifold back exhaust. It was modelled on a scorpion funny enough but we have add 2 small silencer sections which really kept the sound and drone down. Dan Rose main reason also was because we fitted it ourselves ... honestly it’s not worth fitting yourself as there a lot more to it and it’s always better to leave it to people that have done loads of these kits ❤️👌😎

What age Focus ST and how do you want to define faster (as in I don’t mean it in a funny way) ie top speed, point to point on road, circuit? 0-60? 100-200? How much spending? Etc I’ll help how I can and I’ll be very honest too.

Other than wear and tear items our FST was bomb proof, just at this power before doing the TTV Clutch it was brakes and clutches, everything else was good. Even did 10-15 trackdays a year in it so it had a hard life that’s for sure. Thanks for watching Andy, please stick around as it’ll be great to have you around. Hello fella, in my opinion, air filter, exhaust and a remap, if funds allow at least a good set of brake pads and with braided brake lines. xZiMinDaveyy haha that would look mad, those full blown M-Sport rally cars look nuts. So far it’s been on the car for about 6 months and done about 8000 miles, only thing we’ve had problems with is the stock 42000 mile clutch which is being replaced this weekend :-) it’s been brilliant:-) thanks for watching and please subscribe and stick around as it would be great to have you on here :-)

When he start the engine he said give it a cold start but when u watch the video the temperature bars read hot so it has been running u can see it on the video 50 seconds to the video

Edward Lundberg hello, it is a custom power flow 3” exhaust made by A14 tyres in Bury St Edmunds, 3” v/band back, it’s very straight and follows the stock route, it has one muffler near the rear and that’s it it’s a flow through type muffler made by power flow, I asked them to make the sound similar to a Scorpion exhaust :-) as I liked that sound

Shaun Walton 12.3 @113mph lol it’s pretty quick, definitely quick as it seems. I have a 900bhp Supra too though which makes this feel like a 1.0 litre Skoda so I’m not really too fussed ultimately what this feels like in a straight line, this car is more about corners.

@@krAwly hello fella and thanks for watching the vids, yeah it’s been off the road since I got my race license and I’ve done a lot more too it since. It’s soon to be back out on the road with about 1100-1200ish bhp. Tbh it is one of the best handling cars out there and the most fun, there are only a handful of hot hatches now that are better and some other spicy expensive stuff that is. I’ve got a FK8 Honda Civic Type R now and it’s mental in the twisty stuff. Mate you are going to frigging love it there awesome fella! I don't know if it's surge i just think it's more a lack of boost control not surge personally, this could be improved imo. I suspect a standalone like a SYVECS for control would help this loads. I think the whole surge things is largely BS.

I dont own anything on same level as a 800+hp supra , what a beast fairplay! :) i own a toyota starlet with a 4efte engine On a old lazy GT3071 turbo lol Built engine etc, 5 speed dogbox now & hoping to see around 500hp per ton once its done and setup on E85, it made 374hp (420hp per ton) many years ago on 97 octane!! @ Medium boost pressure! Its a old banger really sir! :) haha tin cans are gr8 fun. I would also consider fiesta ST with same setup as you, as a modern hot hatch that can make nice power with a underdog engine size, the Fiesta weighing just over 1tons too? Wont hang about nice power 2 weight on it.

Toyota Turbo that’s still epic I love starlets, That’s an Journal bearing turbo correct? Or is it the ball bearing version? I wanna say journal my Supra used to be on a Garrett GT4088R quite some years back. Your build sounds epic, the dog box will be insane too on that with that power to weight ratio. What is it being built for as such? I’m really impressed with how the Fiesta ST is as far as a nice bit of modern day machinery goes but I’d love a go in your starlet, where are you based? Toyota Turbo the Supra is going away next week and it’ll come back around 1200bhp, I’ll stick track (circuit) it but it’s mainly for fast road and VMAX (top speed) events

@@PeakPerformanceReviews hi alex, its actually the dual ball bearing design, Gen1 GT3071 .63AR, not the biggest of the bunch and old tech now compared to the rest! It was a weekend toy to begin with, & then when i damaged 3rd gear I went for the dogbox, & then decided to go down drag route with it, but will see i think im swaying towards keeping on the road as a toy @ moment, will maybe downgrade turbo aswell to a more responsive one this year, will see how the GT30 performs with more boost & better fuel, I would love for you to feature it alex sir! Its not finished yet currently with new upgrades @ my tuner having new k20 coils on plug ignition installed then mapping & MOT Wow thats some serious power 😂😂 will pull in some silly top end motorbikes with that thing! 2jz is an amazing engine isnt it! Very robust and worldwide renowned! I wish u luck and wld love to see a video of it on the limiter in high gears :)

William Timns which ones the standard Pilot sports? PS4 would be much better and there are many more better ones out there. A solid or poly engine mount will help loads! I would always strongly advise one. A LSD will always help loads too

On average it’s between 34-35mpg it’s amazing. Unless your on it all the times then it’s still around 30mpg. But on average yep 34-35.

wayne allan not always about peak Power figures... that being said I find it very hard to believe you can make a higher figure than this turbo with a smaller turbo? Perhaps the turbo is the same size? these turbos or anything at this size beyond 1.8 bar are way out of there efficient zones. Realistically ever turbo that “apparently” makes anywhere much more than 330-340bhp will be a figure that’s apparent to only some dynos. Chuck it on a Dyno dynamics dyno (aka the heart breaker) on a fixed mode like a shootout mode and I would be pretty confident it’ll be less or similar to this. Beside a dyno is for willy waving, times on tracks and strips will give you true realistic output and results. Reality is there won’t be much between most good stage 3/4 turbos. certainly on a stock manifold and fuel system anyway.

Yes I did made that power with smaller turbo I have got x47 turbo and I made just about more then the x47r turbo just about it near two the same so yes I new u wouldn’t believe that bec I made the same with smaller turbo then your biggest turbo with revo so it is slow mate just face it

If you watched all the video which you obviously won’t or don’t you just dislike it because you CP and X47... surprise surprise. On the video I mention I made 347.7bhp so who’s is slow?!? Haha! I don’t know how you can claim a car is slow because it one makes 5bhp less or more .... despite the fact mine had dyno more than yours 😂 I don’t get your logic ..... and I’m not saying your car is slow ... can we all just get along haha 😂

You add all of that power and you stick with the stock clutch? Good luck with that! Also, go ahead and change out that horribly heavy flywheel while you're at it. I own a fist too and have never liked the flywheel from day 1. Happy motoring!

To be honest a lot of people on or around 350bhp still have or have had stock clutches taking that power..... that being said of course it is going to go at some point, i hear and have been told the ST200 we have here in the UK have a stronger clutch that can take the 350bhp even better and still are such a good price so i may go for one of those. That being said i'm am with you in your logic in wanting to also change out that heavy ass dual mass flywheel so i'm tempted by a TTV clutch and chrome moly flywheel. Have you change to a lightweight flywheel in yours? I've always changed out dual mass flywheels in every other cars i've owned that had them. Looks fun as hell. I will most likely pick up a fiesta ST for a side project/ daily driver. They are not over priced for a low mileage used one. It’s probably possible but it would be very hard unless it has the same manifold (which is highly unlikely but I can’t confirm) as the software wouldn’t match the application (because of so many factors) it would be worth picking up the phone to someone like Burton Power or Mountune and ask as they would have a better idea than me on this point. That being said if you have no luck, by all means give me a shout and I’ll actively look at maybe some mods you could do that would work well 👍👍 thanks so much again and definitely get back to me and let me know what you hear and we’ll speak again soon.

@@PeakPerformanceReviews Thanks for your detailed info mate!! You are very helpful. To be honest..in Greece where I am from, no one knows about Ford technology etc. Basically..they don't have a clue. Ity very common to see a VAG group car upgraded rather that a Ford or something else. Anyway.. I've read two different things about this 1.6 eco engine in some forums. Some say it's the same unit with a different map ..some others say that is a different engine. Maybe it's a good idea to speak with those guys you told me. The problem is the installation of the kit..I have to find a good car mechanic, which is rather difficult, they don't have experience with Fords at all. I'll keep watching your videos mate. They are very interesting. Keep it that way!! As soon as i have nee info I'll keep you updated. Until then be safe and have fun !!

MyNightmare669 I know! I’ve been to Thessaloniki once, my mum is from a little place called Manolada but now lives in Zante as I said. Totally understandable that’s the best way. No still stock injectors, they are getting close to the limit at around 350-400bhp so very good fuel system stock considering the car started life as a 200bhp car. Even the stock clutch can take 300-350bhp depending on how you drive, it’s a great base car to modify 👍 Kalinihta fella 👍👍

Don Smith hello fella, we always only ever use Shell V Power, you can use any very good high octane fuel but I always have like and found Shell V Power to be the best. If you have the SPS switch like us you can even have a low octane switchable map for when for some reason you can’t find the good stuff. That way you can be safe :-)

Hi, my Fiesta is in stage 1 and there is only the air box that is modified, everything else is stock. What is the equipment to modify at least to go to stage 4? Frncs brtn stage 1 is still great is it Revo? Large deep core intercooler, good quality intake, all larger hard pipes upper and lower (some come with kit anyway) uprated blow off valve and that’s about. After that there are some things like a big brake kit etc I’d recommend. I’m actually still on stock diff, still works fairly well. Haha if you think this is scary you should see my 888bhp Supra lol! @@PeakPerformanceReviews Thanks for the quick answer. You do not talk about the exhaust, I guess it takes at least a catback, but can we keep the original catalyst? I think I will not be able to miss the big brakes ... thought that at this level of power, the differential would be an obligation. For my stage, It's a local tuner, here in the south of Belgium in Bastogne ... there is a REVO dealer about 150 km from home(near Metz in France)

Frncs brtn ah yes sorry realistically a full 3” exhaust is best with at least a sport cat or de cat if possible. Any good quality system will be fine. You can use a stock cat but I’d strongly advise against this as it would create a lot of back pressure on the turbo. In my opinion a LSD is not definitely needed but it would help of course. For track the LSD would help even more, I guess when I go on track I’ll let you know how much I may need a LSD.

wayne allan I think I’ve seen everyone beating everyone lol! There’s so little in it, I think the Revo Stage 4 now and still holds the fastest time on the drag strip at the moment, all roughly the same terminal speeds too. But again not much in it, all seem to make good power and very similar.

Peak Performance Reviews it won’t be long b4 the x57 comes out and u will never beat that that have more toque then the x47 and lot more power revo will never win between pumaspeed Bec they always step ahead the new x57rs will be 450hp and the x57r will be 410hp and the x57 will be 370hp

Still loving my 270whp ST & contemplating Vt330r/turbo technics s280 & from watching this video again, this revo package. Think I've got most hardware already although revo may recommend some extra bits to achieve best bhp. Such an understated machine but to those that know 👿

@@PeakPerformanceReviews Absolutely love the car! But us boys always want more lol. As mentioned, looking at different turbo's. Seen the vtr330r (350-360bhp), Turbo Technics s280 (350 ish). And there's others out there including the Revo like yours, all pushing circa 350bhp. As far as I can tell from the list of mods already on my car, it should be a straightforward remove current turbo/replace with new+a remap to support. I have stage 3 PRO intercooler, cnc turbo elbow, hot forge pipe, ported manifold, turbo smart actuator/valve, Peron CAIK, Scorpion 3" turbo back, poly bushed insert engine mounts, Collins 3rd mount etc. Let me know your thoughts re choice of turbo. Be well.

Yeah tbf in my defence when I was saying the words I thought it was going to be haha I did that intro and filmed for about 20-30 mins before re starting it up and thought it would be a cold start haha. Not sure how much longer I would have had to have left it lol 😂

Must be amazing, mine running cp2 with mountune induction kit and pipes also a airtec intercooler, running at 238 bhp, as you said weels spin up in second gear on a dry surface.

Bristol bull terrier. It’s awesome, so so fast especially once rolling. These are never great from a dig/standing start as no fwd is really but it’s a rolling race beast. I think with a super good set of track tyres on it would be much much better but overall not too bad on traction if your careful with your right foot. I had CP2 and recently upgraded to CP2e, very happy with it indeed. I have to say the car hooks up fine in 2nd, perhaps a tiny squeak from the tyres at max torque, but generally fine - it’s a healthy engine and all the numbers are where they’re supposed to be (boost pressure, air fuel ratio etc). Do you really struggle for traction in 2nd in a straight line in the dry?

I'm so interested in your build. Been researching stage 3 a lot but all the different kits have different components and different specs feel like I'm going round in circles really. I just know it works and it’s proven, always a name that’s proven to deliver too. The great thing about the Revo is you buy the kit and it’s all there as such, just get a decent Intercooler also and the kit and your set, you can buy better components here and there but it not necessarily needed. I’m doing a full build spec video this week which will be out hopefully this Saturday too 👍

Yeah I'm subscribed, have gathered a bit of info from your videos so far so thanks for that. I'm in Bristol, only had my st a month or so, same colour as yours 66 plate with 20k on it and love it, deffinatley wants more power thou as have had quicker cars but I bought it as I new it had good tuning potential and like you say still reliable and economical. Quick question, how can the 1.6 litre engine handle that extra power? Are the pistons and rods from standard reinforced?

tom _mountune_clarke great question, deck height and wall thickness are very decent sizes and strong. Pistons are Hyper Cast w/DLC Pins with Coated skirts and has a Dual-layer MLS w/stopper ring for a head gasket so again great. Crank weight, thickness etc look decent too, shame it’s open decked design but great for cooling. Lovely line bore honed block too. The pistons would and could likely survive in a 350hp or perhaps even 400hp engine. They have forged rods standard also but look fairly thin and likely to be an area that could or would fail at around the 400bhp mark also mainly actually because of the rod bolt which are thin as f@&k which is a shame. The Main, Head Bolts & Bearings look to be a very very strong design. Valvetrain looks ok but looks weakish... but all and most part are good for 350bhp it looked after for sure. Beyond this imo you need to start spending big money like anything to be safe.

tom _mountune_clarke you are very welcome, the only extra will be from the new bigger Pro Alloy intercooler going on very soon, I suspect it’ll only add 2-4bhp or something small like that. I will definitely not be added anymore hp anytime soon as I don’t want to push it. It’s so good at this level and any much more would ruin it. I plan to have a track set of alloys with much more grippier track rubber added and maybe a weight loss plan and that’s it to be honest for at least a few years. Next stage say 400bhp would cost so much money I suspect and would be better put in something else. These are great for tracks where I use them ❤️👌👍 your gonna love it fella 👍😎

I think any more power above 350 would kinda of ruin the car and you might lose its identity, unless thats your ultimate goal! Does your RS bumper hinder your intercoolers performance? It appears to block a great chunk of air looking at the design or is it ok?

tom _mountune_clarke I totally agree, no it blocks less than most bumpers if any tbh. That being said I plan on doing some circular cut outs under the number plate like I have for track days only. On the road it’s not likely I’ll ever the car too hot. That being said the Pro Alloy intercooler isn’t doing a very good job at the moment and I’ll be going back to Airtec, far better cooling with there Stage 3/4 intercooler.

Toyota Turbo it runs around 1.6 and sometimes tapers to a max of 1.8 bar, I think it’s close to max efficient at around this level, I do think build with some choice mods there definitely more legs in it for sure though as 2.0-2.2bar may be possible with the right fuel and cooling :-) .... maybe in the future ;-) stick around and subscribe as it would be great to have you on here :-) 👌😎👍

Who would have thought it technology and design of these modern hot hatch engines have really come along leaps and bounds! Toyota Turbo it’s a very strong stock motor haha it’s no 2JZ but it’s a stout little beast. ive got 1 question. the fluttering in youre turbo at 3min34 when youre pulling hard i think its in third gear. is this normal? ive installed the turbo and got the same. i was thinking that ive got an exhaust leak between the exhaust manifold and turbo or somewhere. but now im hearing that you got the same sound so mabe its normal?

It’s normal as such, some people say it’s turbo surge which to be honest imo it is. The turbo is not matched well for the port size, you need to or imo would need to get rid of back pressure and increase flow there to make it better. It’s struggling to flow, the turbo is too good, too hungry for that little flange/port size.

@@PeakPerformanceReviews we are proud owners of a mk7.5 if you are stood with the car in neutral and you keep constantly reving over time this will cause fractures in the turbo housing due to waste stress pressure

Dennis B I think when we get it back on the dyno with the new bigger cooler we’re putting on very soon I’ll do some temp tests and I may even see if we can monitor and data log some temp recordings when we do our first Trackday of the year. It’s definitely something I’d consider as I’ve run systems before on other cars I have owned with great effect 👌😎❤️

Personally i would go with a wmi kit before a bigger intercooler to avoid introducing lag, not that you need telling, keep up the good work.

The kit i use came from coolingmist, it's boost activated, needed to upgrade the switch (adjustable ) to a better quality item but the rest of the kit is good, it's not mapped in as it's only for cooling i use more water than meth or neat screen wash that have meth in, it also keeps the knock sensors happy.

How do you think that your stage 4 fiesta would go against a Mk3 Focus RS on the track and on the road??Personally don't care for drag strip times as the fiesta st is not a drag car. Pretty quick times but car is so much better than running in a straight line

I’ll be doing this soon too and will be on track in February and throughout the year. Was only giving an example in vid as to how quickly it can cover ground against expensive machinery. I do way over 20 track days a year in this car and others and race myself so I’m 100% with you buddy!

12.9 on street tyres @109mph can do 12.4 I’m told on a R compound or drag tyre. I’ve done 160mph on the clock ..... it still seemed to be pulling but I’m not sure of the ratios so not sure what true top out speed is. It sounds like a on and off whistling noise then when it goes into 4th it goes was just wondering what it was I've been told it's a built in recirc valve in the turbo

Superb video👍and loving the front bumper showing off the monster pro intercooler which is the same as I have on mine. Recently acquired a stage 3 ST. 270whp-310bhp crank. Absolutely loving the car. Got all the required hardware fitted i assume (turbo is "aet v1", have list of parts fitted) but to reach your 350bhp level, would I require simply a remap or are there any important additional parts needed to run it safely at 350bhp? Thanks for the kind words fella glad you like. Ah sounds awesome, what turbo is yours on do you know? Mine is a Revo turbo which is made by turbo technics it’s called an RT330 on pump fuel on a harsh dyno it makes a real circa 330bhp I suspect on a stand-alone engine management system and better than pump fuel you could make close to 350bhp on a harsh dyno without too much of a problem your next problem around this level once you run more aggressive ignition timing will be fueling and engine internal strength. The motor is stout but at around this level you are running a lottery as to having some potential big problems. Some turbos can push close to 350bhp but you’d have to let me know exactly what turbo you are running. @@PeakPerformanceReviews Thanks for reply. I mentioned in my post that the info from previous owner was that the turbo is an "aet v1" not a 330R if that is familiar to you. Here's a spec list on my car..... Peron V1 custom dyno tuned to 270 whp (315.9 bhp@flywheel) Pro Alloy intercooler Scorpion 3” turbo back resonated exhaust Forge hotside Poly bush insert engine mounts Collins third mount Peron headlight intake (HICAS) Turbosmart actuator (7psi) Turbosmart recirc valve CNC turbo Elbow Ported Manifold H & R Springs, Powerflex spring isolators Bola B1 with nankang ns2’s Megane 225 calipers with Ds2500’s TRC Low Line kit Retrim steering wheel Raised shifter, solid bushes with short shifter Red leather heated seats. He spent money and love on it and it shows in how solid it feels to drive and of course performs superbly but the old adage "more more more" is rearing its head at me! Looked into having a decel map installed at a place over in Normanton about 14 miles from Leeds but unless its switchable I won't bother, would probably annoy the hell out of me especially going round Asda's amd B&Q's car park! They also do a v330r Peron package/map which produces 317whp which is incredible power especially as it runs at lower boost pressure than their 300whp map, sounds very clever. Probably require some extras no doubt (maybe different turbo) which I'd have to seriously consider whether it'd be worth the extra cost as it runs so well as it is. ££££'s. Regards Roman.

Roman Mondryk sounds awesome fella, I think these power levels are pretty much the sweet spot for these cars. I think looking at the size but without looking at compressor maps with big engine work I suspect that turbo will be pushed to make anymore power safely so I’d stay right there. No I don’t believe that could our run a focus Rs when that 350 stock and when they bring the new turbo out for the focus rs they think it will be roundabout 500hp and stage2 is about 420hp and four wheel drive so I can’t see that some how four wheels is better then two wheels

Daryl rabara-brokate we’ll see very soon anyway, considering I’ve been very close to my friends really well developed 400bhp one I can’t see it being too much of a problem of me with this being able to stretch a MK3 Focus RS with circa 400bhp on track for sure 👌😎❤️

This would ahnilate a focus RS 420hp setup! I could bet a house on it the fiesta ST would rinse it every gear, much lighter & not much less power, it would rlly do a job against 400hp focus ST or RS
