What I like about this guy is that he doesn’t just record a 5-0 trouncing he just uploads live games no matter what the result to show how to properly play the game instead of just showing highlights of easy games.

Hi neal I’ve been a gold 1 player since the end of fifa 19 I have hit 22 few times before but never can get elite, my biggest problem is defending I have switched to ball relative but my right stick switching is still not accurate any tips other than keep trying ?

An excellent guide neal i would admit am not the most talented of fifa players and i try and base my passing game if you like on how man united do it in real life if you have watched them recently under ole trying to match how they pass basically pass and move pass and move not very skilful too dont know many skills but i wasnt sure if that was the correct way to do that if you like thought it was a bit samey on my end so seeing a video like this makes it reassuring i can do that and then for defending am useless with that i find the switching tricky enough cant get on with right stick switching my fingers cant get used to it on the pad and always bring out my defenders which cost me so always been a LB guy and also a for tackling to and also i didnt know you can defend with your cdm in a 4231 thats my preferred formation again i didnt know you can use that pretty much the full game i noticed there but trying out your progressive tactic at the mo 4231/352 and 442 one so its just knowing when to switch things up

Good to see that you sometimes try to switch back to CDM and need to switch 3 or 4 times before it selects the player you want to .. I have that so much. Hate it. And also, the goal you got against with the Keeper Throw/Mistake (the 2-3).. That happens too often this year. Keepers seem a tad drunk sometimes. :-) I learned from this video to not be scared to use the R2, but just use it a lot less than I do.

What camera setting are you using?

Its true about the shooting and the rebounds and even the passing the games need tweaking loads

I try to defend with the CDM but sometimes the strikers of my opponents are always close to my CB and the time to choose my CDM and run to defend it's too late.

Can you do tactics for 451 ?

1 thing to improve this tutorial. When cutting passing lanes to strikers with your CDM, don't stand between the ball and striker like you do in this video. Track them both goalside and ballside as gameplay doesn't allow you to block the passes and let's the striker have it anyway. This way you can quickly manually defend the strikers when they receive it without having to move a defender out of position. Press them in mid with RB/R1 until the midfielder is close enough to make a tackle before you switch. I've improved so much from this channel but changing the way control/track with my CDMs immediately strengthened my defence and attack.

The most important thing in this game is connection and Ping! Those who live closer to servers are Elite, and those who locate far from servers are not elite. Simple as that! I used to study in England and made regularly Elite 3-2. Now came back to my country and Gold 2-3. Now my Ping is 70-90

I lose several games because of the game lagging or freezing and this results in my opponent scoring without me being able to do anything. Any tips? So far your tips have got me into my first weekend league and silver 3 - a PB!

I got 25-5 on an rtg in FIFA 19 but this game is heavily dependent on server connection, you can be a top 100 player but if you have heavy gameplay you can't even get gold 1.

What does he mean by l1 trigger

For the opponent's Neymar goal, what do you mean from that far out? The guy is literally near the box line. How is that far? It's an obvious goal, although I understand if you don't usually take long shots it might surprise you. And on his last goal, how is he facing away from the goal? It s difficult for me to understand how you think it should not be a goal, that's a classic finesse shot goal, seems pretty obvious to me. It's not automatically "no logic" just because it's something you would not do.

How do you pack the box?

My problem is that when I right stick switch to my cdm or l1 switch to my cdm it doesn’t do it. Then it ends up pulling a player who’s further away like my striker or winger and then I have to tap l1 before it’s to late and that normally puts me in control of whoever’s nearest to the ball which ends up being my defence. Is there any settings I can use to make my right stick switching more relevant because it’s really annoying watching something happening right stick switching and it doesn’t switch or switches to someone who’s not even near the action.

Do u hold L1 trigger or tap it?

you know the game is mostly accurate. a lot of times you said the shot doesn't make sense, it really did. No one plays the same. I think the best players switch it up. Other wise people already know you are going for the extra touch. the one-touch shot in the mix keeps them sayig "That doesn't make sense"

Why is my back line always caught out on the counter, in division rivals my team is on point, in fut champs my team seem to just do what they want. I have custom tactics to stay back while attacking on one cdm, all back 4, rest are on balanced get in behind, 2 bars on the corners, balanced and long ball

It doesn’t make sense bc ur on assisted. Elite players go all manual settings which should be default and results in a more realistic game. Agreed though, game still has tons of issues.

That shot you complaining about was actually a good shot for a good shooter. Not even a video game shot. That’s a shot that a lot of ST would take if they have no other player with them. He had a shooting angle

Was 18-1 and then as soon as I hit 18 everything I was doing before didn't work... Ended on 21-8... This game is such a joke... Should've been an easy elite finish but my team just felt so weak as soon as I hit that 18 full power bars and passes going not even a 1m to the opponent and them scoring
