You can go to the transfer list, find a player and see they’re starting bid. Other ppl might overbid you. Check the time in which the player will be removed from the transferlist. If it’s less than a minute there’s a big chance you’ll get it for the starting price.

It happens when you sprint in the game like real life, try subbing players out so you not use all there stamina
