FIFA 23: Fix Controller/Gamepad Not Working With FIFA 23 on PC, Fix Controller Issue With FIFA 23 PC 

Are we trying to play a simple game that should not require anything special or are we trying to summon a ghost?

my controller is fine in offline modes, but when i join an online game in FUT it goes mad and wont let me control my players, they just run into the wall off the pitch, help

make sure that you enable in game overly form steam settings otherwise it will not work steam/settings/in game/enable steam overly while in game(make sure the tick is there

Fifa 23 doesn't see my PC controller even in game settings I only can change between keyboard and keyboard + mouse. WTF?

I have a problem with fifa 23 origin . 1) controller keep scrolling in menu 2) the game detect im playing with controller and keyboard at the same time, at the select side menu, when I move to left or right side, the controller and keyboard icons move simultaneously. It does affects my ingame gameplay tho Pls help me 😭

Hello, I am having the double input problem please? When I try to scroll to the left or the right the movement is doubled, also some of the buttons do not respond such as the R2, L2, I am using a generic gamepad, but tried a PS4 controller using the steam setting with nothing working.

dont work, can play offline but no pad in online games and trainigs arena. pissed off

Thank you so much man ❤️❤️ All i did Guys depending on what he said is Added Fifa 23 and EADesktop to steam Then deleted fifa 23 settings folder and then i launched steam as an adminstraitor the lunched EADesktop and from EADesktop i launched FIFA 23 and all was good.

MY PROBLEM: It always continues Scrolling... MY SOLUTION: i deleted in my bluetooth devices my wireless controller. I got a USB Cabel von my Xbox One Controller, connected to the PC, and it worked. Its a Wireless connection Problem.

i am using wired controller,for me i calibrate it i am sure that it is working but,not only in the ea app.that happens if i push the buttons R1 L1 then pops up the ea settings with friends etc please help :P

Tried all the options, still does not work...

The problem is way easier to fix. Go to Steam settings > controller > General controller settings > uncheck XBOX CONFIGURATION SUPPORT. And its fixed.

GUYS! If your controller doesn't work in online modes, but in offline does, try to CHANGE FUT CHAMPIONS stadium to for example Santiago Bernabeu (my random choice) and for me it worked! I don't know what's goin' on, but for me it works perfectly. Let me know if for you too and if for you too it works - then please BROADCAST everywhere where it's possible for people to try it. I'm writing this there, because I'm banned on EA help. (cause of "abusing" EA) I've got this solution of course from COMMUNITY, not from EA XD So if it works for you, please tell other people.

Nálam asus usb Bluetooth wireless kapcsolata szakad meg folyton a játék alatt , xbox one controllernél. Ez már évek óta probléma,minden Fifa játéknál. Nem tudom mi a faszért nem tudják normálisan megcsinálni, probléma nélkül. Csak Fifa probléma, más játékok alatt nem bukkan fel. Másik ilyen gond, hogy lapoton játszom és az egeret is érzékeli a játék egyidőben a controllerrel ,ami irányításnál bezavar.

For anyone who tried all of the steps and nothing worked. Try uninstalling step by step like me : 1. Uninstall Fifa 23 through Steam 2. Delete Folder Fifa 23 in Documents folder (BACKUP your progress if necessary) 3. Uninstall Steam 4. Restart your PC 5. Reinstall Steam and Fifa 23 (I know it’s a b*tthurt to reinstall 45 gb games) 6. Go to Steam setting-> Controller -> General Controller Settings -> Turn on Xbox/PS/General Configuration Support 7. Go to Big Picture Mode, launch Fifa 23 These steps worked for me after 1 day frustation. Hope it will work for all of you. EA is a disgrace tbh 👎

If I opened the game in orgin without steam it is open but if I opened the game in orgin with steam it isn't opened ( the application encountered an unrecoverable error fifa 23 ) i need help plzzz

Hello brother, i just test this method but its didnt work. I have fifa23 on epicgames and when i start fifa23, epicgames runs the origin and origin opens the game. I have replica ps3 controller and when i want the play the fifa23 i cant play with my joystick. What should i do? Should i buy new fifa23 or should i buy new joystick? Joystick is working in other games.

According to a post by an EA staff, FIFA only supports xbox and ps contrller from this year, so ig we have to bust out another 50$ for a controller to play a 70$ game.
