"FIFI" Boeing B-29 Super Fortress 7-20-2024 

Thank you for posting this detailed video of Fifi in action! I volunteered at the DuPage stop (I am actually in this video; the shorter person in the flight suit after she lands) but I did not take many pictures while "on duty" so it's wonderful to have this! And of course, thank you for attending the event and helping keep her flying!

Saw FiFi land at Teterboro airport in NJ about 40 years ago. She's a beauty.

She was in DSM this past weekend, saw her fly over my house on Saturday. It’s probably been 25-30 years since I last saw her, still going strong.

I was lucky enough to be traveling east on Loop 820 and snapped a pic of FiFi landing at her Meacham Field base in Ft. Worth on September 5, 2020 what a beautiful sight to see!

I actually flew on her at this event on the 20th and if that was FIFI's second flight for the day, I was onboard when you recorded this! It was an awesome experience and this is great footage, thanks for sharing it 👍

The B-25 on the ramp was 'Show Me' based here in St Louis

My father was a USAAF B-29 navigator 1944-1945. He died in 2016 age 94. He saved and I have his original flight jacket with squadron insignia. My son and I visited (did not fly on) FIFI at Boire Field in Nashua NH in 2018. My family are Friends Of Doc.

Last time I saw this a/c was at Oakland ca while I was shooting the stunt for movie Tucker.. Was being dis assembled for transport yo another state glad I took pictures!
