Fifth Gear AD: Peugeot 508 Fastback 

Superb review. I've learned nothing about the car.

Bought me a 2018 GT like you see here, just in black with red leather. Superb car. The drive comfort is sublime. The assistance systems work as you want them too. And the 225HP engine has plenty of poke. It's so good, two of my Audi driving colleagues at work are currently looking to trade in for one. Honestly... they are.

I think Peugeot are on a roll at the moment. The 3008 and now this. It looks like a winner.

Sadly... the last Peugeot that I saw over here in Canada (that wasn’t a bicycle) was a 1980 505! Man ... I love both Citroen an Peugeot’s unique style language. I wish either/both would be brought back (to Canada). Instead we’re getting more and more Kia and Toyota dealerships, by the day. Thanks. I love the car and appreciate the video.

Nice car, shame about the UK Government putting a stop to Diesels. Peugeot have made arguably the best diesel engines in the world. They have also collaborated with other manufacturers to help them with Diesel technology. Interestingly, PSA have recently acquired Vauxhall. No doubt their future models will be Hybrids and EVs. 😞

Man i absolutely like this sedan!! Peugeot literally regained its roar back since the highly acclaimed 3008 mk2!!

Trouble is it will still be made cheaply as hell under the bonnet with Citroëns renowned floppy gearbox and clutch made of tissue

Peugeot haven't made a nice looking car since the 607 which was something like 20 years ago. But this 508 is incredibly good looking, and also nice that they haven't given up on the large car market which is brilliant.

Now...I hate french cars. Infact I would rather have a horse than any French car. But I have to admit that the 508 is absolutely beautiful, a good car and we'll priced. It gets my approval. 😊

Beautiful car, enough power and so different to the German brands. If only the sheep out there would realise the German 3’s quality isn’t brilliant anymore while the likes of Peugeot, Kia etc are coming on leaps and bounds.

Im not Peugeot fan, but this one looks awsome. But in this version with all addon's ,it must be much more expencive than the base model....we always come to the same thing. For that money i will go for bmw 320d, golf gtd ,audi A4.

5 dr 5 seat CMOM unless you have a family of midgets (no disrespect to midgets). And it has a rough cheap torsion beam rear suspension. And uncomfortable seats! A Luxury sedan???

It's funny how much hate these french cars are getting these days… even considering that Audi, Mercedes, BMW and VW are amongst the most unreliable brands you can buy talking from mechanial experience My friends 206 s16 was 14 years old before what…. it needed an exhaust, sparkplugs, fuelfilter and oil… French cars rust very little compared to other brands And hey…. They are way cheaper to own Of cause... Renault is still... Renault... But... Benz... are terrible... VW's always comes with faulty electronics… Audi... is just a vw in an expensive suit French brands has a bad rep… But really the germans are the onces that actually keeps on breaking… But yeah… French cars still are build in ways that makes them awful to work on... but they do not break as often as an BMW, Merc or Audi.... The only reason vw brands plus merc and Big Money Waste is still in buisness is due to their marketing departments… plus that people still assume that… if you drive a german luxery sedan you must has your butt stuck with 100 doller bills…

Sponsored crap and not a review. Good looking car though like most recent Peugeots. Shame it will start rattling, creaking and developing all kinds of annoying faults that peugeot service will try to tell you are not there. The 1.6 petrol engine is bad too. My last car a 208 GTI with just 9k miles and not even 2 year old got extremely loud because of issues with timing chain that are still not fully resolved, even after years of development. It also refused to rev past 4000 rpm and had problems with cooling system. Great cars!

No powerful engines and black interior. Yuck.
