This game was way ahead of its time. I wish boxing comes back and ea will feel the need to capitalize on their greed and make another boxing game.

Fighting as Tyson against Ali is pretty difficult. Ali's jab keeps you at bay, unless you can get in pretty close...Ali will just pick you apart.

Statistically speaking Tyson and Ali are in the same league in terms of speed and elusiveness,Tyson has the advantage when it comes to punching power whereas Ali has the advantage when it comes to "reach",which is accentuated by the fact that he's an "outside" fighter.If Ali were to use his "Rope a Dope" tactic against Tyson,it would be almost futile due to the fact that some of Tyson's most powerful punches are Body Shots.So in the end,when it comes to statistics it's a deadlock because Ali's reach and "Float like a Butterfly,sting like a Bee" style are offset by Tyson's ferocious punching power and his "Peek a boo" style.But as Teddy Atlas said,Boxing is only 25% Technique and 75% Psychological,which means the decisive factor to determine who would win between The Legend (Tyson) and The Icon(Ali),would be the greater "Edge"."Good" Boxers have skill and toughness whereas "Great" Boxers have an Edge i.e. an overarching quality that evokes a specific response and impression within the mind of other fighters which significantly constrains and inhibits their Boxing abilities. this fight night is still by far the best to real physics in any combat game ever. even much better than the new ufc games from ea, ufc games look good but still feel clunky. this game looks amazing still for being 2011 ps3/360 game. hope they can bring back this gameplay

I agree Ali would out last Tyson. Ali had a lot more Chin and Heart. Ali would also frustrate Tyson with his style of fighting. Its not all about the speed and power. Boxing is a mixture of physicality and desire. That of which Ali is a more balanced boxer and would go the long run for the win.

I have the privilege of 'discover' this game about 3 months ago (i knew it existed but never put interest on it) until on my work i started to notice people talking about this game about its sale 4.99 on microsoft store and about what amazing is it so i decided to buy the game on sale and started playing but i played like shit for weeks and weeks then suddenly i exploded i finally mstered the game and always play on greatest on all time difficulty,man i cant put down the damn game,its the only thing i play and i have 124 games snd neither interests me anymore i only want to play this game for eternity....who the hell needs esbc sports boxing? Im joking i need that too (at least to see if is an improvement over this champ) even i watched the film of ali (will smith) and im so hooked with stories of boxing and all of this stuff,great moment to be alive

Hello Tyson fans who think Tyson would best Ali. I saw an interview and Tyson was asked if he thought he could beat Ali and he told the reporter that he couldn't and never would be able to as Muhammad Ali is the greatest of all time.

Its crazy how people feel bad for Ali, even the announcers were riding Ali's D when Mike was landing crazy power shots that would have dropped Ali. You get hit like that by Mike in real life and you dont just eat it and keep it pushing.

When I tried this I lasted all 10 rounds, and it resulted in a tie, we both knocked eachother down once

muhammad ali had the quickest hands ever and was an amazing fighter. tyson was great too, he was relentless and had alot of his opponents beat before they stepped in the ring. if they fough i would put my money on ali because of the reach advantage. thats nothing against tyson, but i think muhammad ali is the best ever and tyson is the second best!

I love this game and I also tried this fight as Ali it was pretty tough as Tyson was dodging my punches and hitting me with power punches but overall it was fun play and to watch you play

I finally can consistently beat Ali on normal with Mike. You HAVE to destroy the body in the first and 2nd round. Ali has a chin of steel in this game but if you beat on the body, he will be sluggish by round 3 and easier to drop
