Yeah okay the F35 took a while to be phased in, a ton of money and international effort, and countless hours on LM, but damn that has to be the sexiest fighter I've seen. Sleek, all internal bays, VSTOL/thrust vectoring, SotA avionics, 4 stock variants available for any branch.. LM hit it out of the park even with the fact the F35 is not the quickest, most stealthy, or best payload capable aircraft; it combines all these factors to a lesser but still unprecedented degree for a multi-role fighter. Simulating the F35 in P3D every day just does not do it justice!

You need 50KW of power to used the laser gun.So far none of the US fighter has such power,China s Silent Hunter used a small 4th generation pebble bed ,helium cooled nuclear reactors.to power it.

I love the F/22 it is awesome no other like it in the world.. That's why The USA only has it and keeping it.. I don't wanna hear comments to me about what it takes to maintain it or lack of Oxygen..LoL... We are the world's Finest and most honed in the World..

Depending on the training scenario he may be playing a bandit in which he would need ECM jamming or comm disruption; it's rather speculative without operational details. There could be a RIO in the back seat getting checked out on ECM. It does look like an ECM pod but it could be a number of payload pods mounted to the pylons. I believe they are SUU79A pylons so I can only speculate as to the payload. Cheers
