This is fantastic! My Mom and I went on vacation in San Antonio when I was in fifth grade. We were enjoying the River Walk and the big bell started chiming and then suddenly the walkways immediately cleared. We couldn’t figure out where everyone was going, (we’re from Detroit btw). Then we were caught in a huge swarm of bats and took off running, much to the entertainment of everyone around us. One of the bats hit the back of my ponytail. Just screaming, running and making fools out of ourselves. Flash forward twenty years later and I was volunteer at a Michigan bat sanctuary and love those flying puppies! Never ever touch one if they get into your space though, that was bad advice. Just call a safe animal control center. 🦇💕
