Fiido Titan review. 26x4-inch fat wheel ebike with 14.5Ah battery up to 135km range on a single battery or 400km with 3 batteries in total. Huge 203mm 4 piston brakes and 750W (1150W peak) motor. More info: bit.ly/3O5TLty
@@saturnblue Riding bikes is the best, getting out there in the mountains especially and some fresh air. My favorite videos to film. Yes the control panel does have a bit of a sad face look never really noticed it until I saw my night clip of it and the OO + ) 🙁 haha
I have to admit that the design of Fiido is really top of the industry. Whether it is Titan or X, I think no one will refuse a practical and good-looking e-bike.
Okay you're taking the micky now Chris showing me so much sun!!!!!! Nice video as always but maybe a bit too heav this one. Love how well it climbs and the torque sensor a must.
Good review and a truly beautiful backdrop! I agree with most points. For what it's worth, I don't find taking out the battery particularly hard. You can unlock it either with the bluetooth app or using the passcode on the bike (press up-arrow and down-arrow together then enter 1234), and then push the battery in on both sides, that will make it slide down. You can then unlock it by pushing down the metal clamp and it will fall out, so to speak.
Hi, Chris Great video. I do have a suggestion, might as well do some shorts or some live contents for your channel. I will add diversity ... e.g. Live unboxing etc to interact with your followers as you've gotten bigger now.
I'm considering purchasing an e-bike, and I must admit that for some reason I'm tempted by fat bikes. Honestly, I will be driving about 60% on asphalt and some on dirt roads. So such a bike is a bit of style over substance. I wonder what will be better: Fiido Titan (which is simply beautiful) or maybe Lankeleisi MG600 Plus. Or something else?
regulators here in the netherlands are about to enforce new laws where any e-bike above 250W is illegal (exceptions are allowed but means manufacturers have to go through testing Insurance where most would fail.) and it's a 485 euro fine so yeah.. so much for fatbikes.
The 250 Watt limit is over an hour. Peak output can be higher but brands don't avertise that usually. Bosch advertises their CX line as having 85 Nm of torque and their peak power output is in the 700-800 W range. But the one hour rating is 250 W. The advantage is that they have mid drive systems where you get the benefits of having the transmission in between the motor and the tire. Cheaper hub motors are much more affected by the power limits as they only have that one 1:1 ratio whereas for exampel my Shimano10 speed gives me a range of 1:1 to 1:4
The newer version of the Himiway Zebra has a torque sensor too. I'm torn between the Zebra (48v 20Ah - 960Wh) and the Fiido Titan (smaller battery at 696Wh but i could carry a spare). Maybe even the Lankeleisi MG600 as its very similar to the Zebra. I need a bike with a torque sensor that can carry a pair of panniers, off-road mainly, with the longest battery range available. Not too keen on having the twin rear batteries on the Titan as my panniers would be over the rear wheel too. Cheers for your review 🚲🙂👍
Himiway Zebra I haven't tested out so they upgraded it with a torque sensor that is good. The Zebra with a single battery Vs a single Titan battery, the Zebra would be the range winner for sure there.
@@Techtablets yes, the late 2023 and onwards models have a torque sensor. Also, there is a new Himiway model out, the Zebra Pro, and it has a mid-drive motor. Btw, when you pedalled the Titan with the motor off on mode 0, did you feel any drivetrain drag from the motor? (Aside from the weight of 38 kgs 😥🙂) Cheers 👍
Hi there just wondering l been trying to sort out a uk Dealer but no luck l didn't know if u can help me to find one what a brilliant ebike cheers John
What if the company no longer exists of the bike is no longer supported by the app. How would you get your battery out? Genuinely asking, because I'm interested in the bike.
I think we're pretty safe as Fiido has been around for a while now. And then you would be able to download the apk file of the app for android at least of a site like apkmirror.
@@Techtablets Thanks for the reply! Unfortunatelly this isn't always true, also big/old/trending companies start to fail or simply shut down services. So I guess there is no other way to unlock it apart from the app?

Everything more than 250 watt is never a bicycle where I live. Then you should have a licence plate and insurance. I wonder if it is legal anywhere in Europe.
@@TechtabletsUsually wattage has to be limited to 250W continous. But motors from Bosch etc are liek 750 Watts for peak power. But that is for mid drives so you have the transmission
@@Techtablets Yeah, for climbing steep hills it's an advantage. I can imagine it's practical for certain countries. But (very young) people often use the stronger engine for speed, driving by with 60-80 km/h on a bicycle lane, without insurance and helmet.
@@TechtabletsFat tires were made for sand and snow... if you really have to ask "why?" then you don't ride bikes enough. There's multitude of reasons of why slimmer tires would be much better, especially for street and for electric. Skinnier tires would give you less weight, more efficiency, more range, easier peddling, better handling, less cost, easier to find, etc.
Trolling? Yes I don't ride bikes... I've owned about 54 different bikes and riding weekly around the mountains I showed you in the background of this video. On my Trek 29" MTB so what a stupid reply as fat tires not just for snow or sand lol!! Shows you don't ride more like it. They are very good on rough rocky trails and just light offroad stuff as they soak up bumps and off good traction as a result. Sounds like you have never ridden a fat wheel bike. Sure they are heavy on the road they are poor due to the bad rolling resistance of course but this is not a city or road bike.
@@TechtabletsAlso, could care less what you "own" You are given products for review. There's a difference. I grew up skating, rollerblading, bmx, MTB, motocross, motorcycle. I was building bikes when I was 8. I've run my fair share of bikes into the dirt, and pavement. I have battle hardened shins, calves of steel, scars, and broken bones to prove it. So what? Nobody cares.
