@@Shave_n_Butcher that razor is stunning. Last week I had an opportunity to purchase a Filarmonica 14, in excellent condition. I thought about it very hard and decided to spend the $500 on a Japanese whetstone instead. I suspect that I will regret not getting it.
@@Shave_n_Butcher I have been looking for straight razors of all kinds, and have seen several new or like new condition Filarmonica 14s and they have been $500 to $600 US dollars. In your experience is that the current market price range for them? At this point I am enjoying honing and shaving with razors I have honed. As much as I wanted to get a Filarmonica, for that amount of money I would rather have the really nice jnat.

At 5 a.m. it's easy to get confused abou the time. Half seven is less impressive in English than "halv sju" in Swedish - it's an hour later, even if we ignore the different time zones. I have been up at 5 am a lot more often because I haven't gone to sleep late than because I woke up early. I still wouldn't wield a sharp knife at that hour anyway. Respect! But I am a bit worried about that variable gravity in Sweden. Hej då, goosbye, sayonara, adiós!
It's not a currant problem, it's a raisin problem... 🤣 we all want to be that guy, but phone someone with the appropriate skills and knowledge, it'll be less painful in the long run and the quicker it's fixed, the more grateful the Mrs will be (smarty points....) Nice looking razor BTW. Hope the testing went OK and stay safe 👍
Oh, then I would buy a used one, and why not a vintage one. I would check out the Facebook buy/sell/trade groups and look for a full-hollow 6/8 inch razor. AND get it honed/sharpened by a competent straight razor honing expert. Good luck!
