This video has been created for those who are learning Japanese language.
It's only used hiragana and katakana.
There is no kanji.
So it's suitable for beginners and intermediate Japanese learners.
I go to various places in Japan every time and talk with some people.
[but sometimes my monologue]
You can learn Japanese that are actually used.
Let's listen to real Japanese that is not in ordinary Japanese textbooks.
I'm paying a lot of attention to Japanese subtitles. But I'm not good at writing English, so there may be some mistakes in English subtitles.
Please consider English subtitles to be your help only if you don't understand my Japanese.

I appreciate this format with the Japanese and English being so far apart. When the Japanese and English are right next to each other it takes a lot more effort to focus on reading the Japanese and not get distracted by the English. この動画に日本語をfocusしますがもっとやさしいです。多分、私の日本語のレベルでふりがなが平仮名のよりいいですけど知らない単語がまだ多いですからゆうすけ先生のきれいな発音がとても便利です。

Difficulty - hard 😑: go to foreign country without a common language (250xp). Difficulty - So you like pain🤯🤩: foreign country, no shared language, mostly opposite culture, fix problems with a subcontractor from said country (2000xp). I wonder how it was like to come back after such a quest...I'm glad you did the video, as it doesn't really matter (to me at least) where you walk and it's fascinating to hear your reactions to new surroundings. And I get a language lesson 😁トップマーク! ありがとうございます!

As someone who was born in China but lived out of it for most of my life, it feels strange seeing a different perspective of my home country. Honestly, my own experience living there wasn't very happy. There were many times I've had bad impressions of people who lived wherever I was. But it's nice to know not everyone has that impression, I wish I had more positive things to say when I lived there

To be honest, I had a bad impression of China at first. But when I actually went there, my impression changed. They seemed very cheerful and happy. It's not at all like the impression we just see from the outside. China is becoming a superpower for better or worse, so the situation inside will be changing more and more.

I couldn't stop watching this video, because I've never been to China, and really want to go. Sometimes I wonder why I chose to focus more on Japan growing up, because I had a lot of exposure to both cultures. It must have been because of anime and manga. That stole my heart. 😌

China is an energetic and vibrant country. I was a little cautious because I knew that there were some Chinese people who disliked Japanese people due to the past troubles between China and Japan. But in reality, I was helped by many Chinese people and made some friends there. Actually going to a place you are interested in is the best experience of all.

@@moshimoshi.yusuke Indeed! After watching you walk around the streets of Fuzhou, getting lost and not worried about it, I realized that I've been holding onto my own fears about China. American news often portrays China as a scary, dirty, and corrupt place, (even before Covid). Your video gave me hope that I can travel there safely!

@@JUPITER11119 I thought so too until I went to China. To be honest, I can't say that there aren't scary parts of communist countries. But that's no problem as long as you follow the local rules. Other than that, since China has surveillance cameras everywhere even in underdeveloped areas, there are fewer robbery-type crimes. It is up to you whether you take this as "spying on the public" or "protecting people from crime".

As Americans, we're not usually given a choice about what to think about communist practices, so I found that very refreshing. @@jjennifer2638 この動画はほとんどGoPro hero8 で撮影しています。指摘の通り、GoProは夜に弱いです。夜に撮影すると光が揺れます。 SONYで空間光学ブレ補正[ Floating-Lens Stabilization ] の機能が付いているカメラなら、夜キレイに撮影できます。

@@jjennifer2638 SONYも使ってます。私が持ってるSONYのカメラはAS300というモデルで、夜の撮影とマイクの性能は良いんですけど形がダサイんですよ。形がダサイのは致命的です。

My Japanese teacher used to say she felt safer to walk around in Hong Kong in the middle of the night than in Tokyo. But not any more. A lot of people here have gone crazy and destroyed the peacefulness that made Hong Kong attractive. The peacefulness of your videos (e.g. 散歩 in 佐原) make them attractive and enjoyable too.

@@MrFurano Yes, Sawara is a good place. I actually took more videos in Sawara, but there were no other videos because of camera problems. I hope that the current problems in Hong Kong will be solved as Hong Kongers want. And I believe that both Hong Kongers and Taiwanese can create their countries for themselves.

日本人と中国人は区別が出来ないほど顔が似ていますが、性格は全く逆でした。もちろんどちらが良い悪いと言っているのではありません。それと、民主主義国家ではない国の中に入ることは私達が持ってない価値観の中に入ることを意味しています。それはとても良い経験でした。

It occurred to me the possible reason why English is not as widespread as you thought. Knowing this language well opens the doors to ideas that perhaps are not so popular in China, the same reason perhaps for not having WiFi at the airport.

I've been enjoying watching a lot of your older videos recently Yuusuke and find your discussions quite interesting. I think a lot of people might want to work in a job that allows them to travel around the world but as you said in the video, often the 'grass is greener on the other side' and working in a job that requires you to travel can actually be quite stressful... Regarding filming videos internationally, I personally rather enjoy these types of video as well as your usual videos so would like you to keep filming them if time allows - although I guess the main issue right now would be the ongoing pandemic... Anyway, I hope you are keeping well Yuusuke and I look forward to seeing more videos!

ゆうすけさんのたくさんの動画を見ましたが、大変多くの収穫がありました。日本語がわかる中国人として、この動画は非常に面白いです。ゆうすけさんが中国で経験されたさまざまな不便さや違和感を感じることができますし、外国人が日本を旅行する際の便利さと比べると、中国には確かに改善が必要な点がたくさんあります。ただし、一つ補足したいことがあります。中国は地域によって大きな差があります（物理的な意味だけでなく、ネットワーク上でも）。例えば、ある地域やネットワークコミュニティでは、英語の普及率だけでなく、日本語が理解できる人も多いです。時間の経過と共に、中国と世界、中国と日本との相互理解もより容易になると信じています。もちろん、私もこの目標のために一生懸命日本語を学んでいます。

These videos are great if you want to learn natural Japanese. Most textbooks are too rigid. You end up talking like a textbook. Also Kanji is very difficult for foreigners. Having it is in hiragana and katakana makes it much easier to learn spoken Japanese.

I know Chinese and English, and people often say Chinese is harder to learn than Japanese... But why is Japanese so hard to pick up ;-; Thank you so much for your videos, they really help a lot, especially since I can listen to them on the way to school and learn Japanese that way.

Why is Japanese difficult? I wonder why, maybe there are a lot of reasons. Japanese grammar and pronunciation are completely different from that of English. And Japanese people speak without too much emphasis on grammar and pronunciation. There are a lot of kanji, and it is very complicated for foreigners to read them. The subject is omitted. There are a lot of onomatopoeia in the conversation. If I start saying it, there's no end to it (>_

@@moshimoshi.yusuke Also a lot of the textbooks for Japanese are not very good for learning. You end up talking very rigid. Japanese people don't speak like what is written in textbooks. Another major problem is most textbooks have outdated words. You end up learning words Japanese people don't use.

As always, thank you so much ^^ I broke this video up into several parts again. You seemed worried that people might not like you making videos from outside of japan but i for my part did not mind at all. I must admit i was a bit a suprised about just how chaotic china seemed at parts. That was very interessting. I did not expect it to be as orderly as Japan but yeah...anyhow, this was a long time ago but "welcome baaack" anyway ^^ I think you actually changed the job later on didn't you. Hi Slewenskiさん！ Thanks for enjoying my video😊 I filmed this video in December 2019, and the next month COVID-19 broke out in China. And as you know, the whole world was affected. In fact, I missed the opportunity to change jobs because of the instability of the Japanese economy and I am still doing the same job. We have to work for a living, even if it's work we don't enjoy, right? Anyway, I kinda enjoy working there somewhat😊

The news says that Japanese companies have changed to a performance pay system, but many Japanese companies still have a seniority system. This may be a bit exaggerated, but if you change jobs, your new boss'll be pushing you around for years at a low wage, even if you have a career or ability in that field. Well, this is a bad custom from the old days in Japan.

僕は日本語を勉強しながら、時々この動画シリーズを見ています。凄いシリーズですね！今回のような中国で撮影した動画は、これまでに思っていませんでした。 22:52 そこは車道そうです。でも、映像によって、右側の歩道はまだ工事中みたいですから、仕方ありませんけど気をつけて。中国では、法律によると、バイクを乗るときヘルメットをかぶらなければいけませんが、実に多くの人はかぶりませんでした。それは危ないそうです。

@@siam-chen 撮影禁止の場所が増えてるのは日本です。最近はレストランやデパートの入り口に「撮影禁止」と書いてある場合があります。ちなみに中国では撮影して歩くのは良くないみたいです。警察に注意されます。

I have never watched terrace house, so I don't know the situation. But it's an interesting question. It is true that some Japanese stay up late. Night is a fun time for us. I wonder if we're night owls... but of course it makes us sleepy. So some people sleep on the morning and evening commuter trains, others sleep pretending to be working in their companys or studying at their schools. It's better to go to bed early at night (~_~)

海外出張は大変です。特に治安が悪い地域は緊張します。行きたい国はハンガリーやチェコなどの東ヨーロッパです。出張で行かない地域、日本から遠いので飛行機代が高い、長い休みが取れない等の理由で、行ったことがありません。それと、日本からとても近いですが、台湾に行った事がないので行ってみたいです。(＾ω＾)

そうですか。長い休みが取れないのは大変ですね。(-_-") 多分その理由で、スペインに来る日本人の観光客はほとんど若いカップル(probably on their honeymoon)とpensionerだと思います。

@ そうですね。日本人にとってスペインへ旅行に行く事は簡単ではないので、実際に行く人は若いカップルか高齢の年金受給者が多いんでしょうね。でもスペインに興味がある日本人は少なくないと思います。サッカーが好きな人とか、ガウディの作品例えばサグラダ・ファミリア等を見たい人は多いはずです。

明けましておめでとうございます！ 6:26 の表現は、日常会話では非常によく使われます。「よく分かんないなぁ、中国語で書くなよ」よく分かんない = よく分からないなぁ = 特に意味を持たない単語。言葉を和らげるために使う。書くなよ = 「書かないで下さい」を乱暴に言った言葉で、命令形( imperative form ) です。例えば走るな(よ) 走らないで下さい ↓ ↓ Don't run ! Don't run please. 食べるな(よ) 食べないで下さい ↓ ↓ Don't eat ! Please don't eat. わかりましたか？つまり、命令形で苛立ち (いらだち Irritation )を表しています。

@@minhhiepnguyen6928 命令形の言葉は、相手や状況により失礼になります。言う相手が年上や初対面の人なら失礼になります。偉そうに命令していると思われるでしょう。友達なら笑顔で冗談っぽく言うのが普通で、非常によく聞く言葉です。失礼になりません。無表情で言うと怒っていると思われます。家族や恋人に命令形で話すのは失礼です。偉そうにしていると思われて嫌われます。命令形は苛立ちを表す表現なので、友達以外には使わないのが普通です。

面白い質問ですね。たとえば私が中国の新聞を読んだら50％は理解できます。でも漢字を書くのは面倒だし私は中国語が分からないので、中国人と話す時は英語で話すか Google Translate か Microsoft Translate を使います。～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～日本人が1600年前の漢字を今でも使ってるのは不思議ですね。

@@go_away510 yeah, they're friendly, it's no doubt. Most of the Chinese I met there were friendly, and many of them have bright personalities. I'm still in touch with people I met there on a chat app called We Chat. In Japan, it is close to the atmosphere of Osaka. The Osaka people are very friendly. If you were in trouble in Osaka, someone would have tried to talk to you to help you. Oh, I'm from Tokyo, but I feel the people in Tokyo are too busy to be friendly. If you come to Japan, I recommend you a trip to Osaka !! (^ω^) sorry to take a time so long (>_

BTW, motorbikes are more common there so I recommend Hoi An Bike Rental, the #1 motorbike rental company in Vietnam with the owner who is more polite than Japanese people.

少し役に立ちました。私は全く中国語が話せませんが、中国語の新聞を読むと、内容の30％を理解出来ました。もちろん、中国語の発音は出来ません。新聞には写真が付いているので、さらにそれを見て50％の内容を理解出来ました。それと、日本語も英語も分からない人と会話が出来ない時、漢字を書いて説明したら理解してくれました。その人に日本語の新聞を見せたら、30~40％位なら理解出来ると言ってました。１つ気になったので… ❌「いくらですか？」 ⭕「どれぐらいですか？」いくらですか？は、主に金額に使われる単語です。お金以外で量を聞く場合は「どれぐらい？」あるいは「どのぐらい？」が正しいです。

中国に入国後空港で中国のSIMカードを買ったらWIFIが使えます。私は仕事のために日本に来た初日に何もわからないから、日本語を喋れなくて、聞き取りも大変だったです。でも、アドレスを紙に書いて、そして、タクシー運転手に渡して、彼が私の行きたいところをすぐわかりましたね。全然問題がなかったです。

仕事で日本に来たことがあるんですね！でも空港からタクシー？日本のタクシーって金額が高いですよね。ha haさんはお金持ちです。 SIMカード、普通の国なら Yes でも… 中国は厳しいインターネット規制がある共産主義国家なので「私達の常識」は通用しません。スマホに中国のSIMを入れても残念ながら Google も Instagram も Facebook も使えません。使えるのは Baidu と We Chat と中国の電話ぐらいです。

@@moshimoshi.yusuke いや。成田エクスプレスで渋谷に着いてから、タクシーに乗りました。でも会社で実費請求ができるので、空港から渋谷までタクシー料も実費請求できるかもしれないです。当時何もわからないから、安い交通手段を使いました。中国で他の国と同じようなインターネットを自由に使えるために、中国以外のSIMカード使わなければいけないです。たとえば、Google Fi のプランを使えばVPNが要らなくて、他の国のインターネットとほとんど同じです。でも料金はちょっと高いですね。
