[ File .5 ] Learn Japanese Language With Subtitles - Okachimachi ~ Ueno

This video has been created for those who are learning Japanese language.
It's only used hiragana and katakana.
There is no kanji.
So it's suitable for beginners and intermediate Japanese learners.
I go to various places in Japan every time and talk with some people.
You can learn Japanese that are actually used.
Let's listen to real Japanese that is not in ordinary Japanese textbooks.
I'm paying a lot of attention to Japanese subtitles. But I'm not good at writing English, so there may be some mistakes in English subtitles.
Please consider English subtitles to be your help only if you don't understand my Japanese.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you feel my videos are good, treat me a cup of coffee !! ☕
ゆすけさん, I can see that you have truly planned your videos so as to give your viewers an increasingly rounded local view of the city. This is a lot of effort. Definitely a lot of work. I'm glad RU-vid's algorithm showed your first video on my homepage. So now, I'm starting with File 1, and trying to type by listening at .5 rate. It's still really hard. But I feel that I can directly link what I'm learning to real like in Japan. I think you could really change a lot of lives this way. 感謝です!
The only 本物 ネットカフェ屋さんとの conversation translated/transcribed on the Internet. This episode was a true gem. Why? I went to one in Dotonbori of Osaka, thinking they speak English. Encountering the same 『お預かり いたします』 speech, I panicked and said "do you speak English?" Then he panicked and we were silent for like 10 seconds. It was the most difficult moment of my life in Japan. 24:09 Can't believe he uses 預かりします interchangeably. Then ended with ください + ませ。 ゆうすけさん 誠に お疲れ様でございました
Thank you for the 5th video. A few of my friends have stayed overnight at the internet cafeteria but thought it wasn't really a comfortable place for a sleep. As for me, I mostly reside in apa hotels whenever I visit Japan. They offer great convenience at a very reasonable price. And since in some cities apa has more than one hotel in the same area (city centre or the outskirt thereof), I usually do not worry about the vacancies. Next time hopefully I will have chances to use the facility of the internet cafeteria, but I may try out capsule hotels first since they look really cosy to me! Hope to see your next video soon. Disclaimer: I do not receive sponsorship from the apa.
@moshimoshi.yusuke
@moshimoshi.yusuke 4 года назад
@@borisl6368 (^ω^) Two reasons for this. First, I like a diverse mindset. Second, Japan needs to become more internationalized. If I look around here, a lot of old people. A nation is in decline if people and economy don't work. So, we need you. I don't think that foreigners living in Japan make it impossible for Japan to keep its unique way.
@borisl6368
@borisl6368 4 года назад
@@moshimoshi.yusuke I think the cause of decline is too much pressure by society rules. Young people are too tense to do more romance, family, more kids. I see drastic change in Japanese kids from very lively before school and becoming too frightened to behave improperly. I think teachers and rules are too strict. So may be you are right more foreigners who do not know the rules will help to relax it for everybody.
@moshimoshi.yusuke
@moshimoshi.yusuke 4 года назад
@@borisl6368 Yeah, you're right. The Japan's rules have been too strict for hundreds of years. And maybe it's not a good fit for modern people. But on the other hand, Japan's strict rules are a big reason for the country's good security.
@moshimoshi.yusuke
する = To do ねだんがする = たかい You're right. (^_^)👍️ We sometimes say things indirectly. This is a roundabout way. That's the kind of expression we do. For instance... = This is sweet. = これ は あまい です = これ は あまい あじ が する There are so many that I can't explain it here. You should listen and learn a lot. Language is not necessarily the same as textbooks. Sometimes you may not be able to translate English into Japanese word for word. But that's what language is all about.
Thank you for your videos! I noticed that you answer comments regularly. I've been learning Japanese for ~20 months now. With intensity ~10-120 mins a day, with some days/weeks of not learning at all. So, I noticed that channels teaching Japanese usually have various levels of complexity (language level). I like RU-vid channels teaching Japanese in Japanese. Did you think about experimenting a bit in terms of complexity? I could give you examples of ideas, and examples of RU-vid channels to think about.
@moshimoshi.yusuke
Thank you for reading the comments section of my videos! Certainly, I've answered comments regularly. You're watching this channel cuz you're learning Japanese, but language learning is also my eternal hobby. So I enjoy answering the comments. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Does that mean I'd better let the people watching my videos know about the complexity ? Some people find it useful if it were there. But I don't like classifying my videos. Because I think it's one of the important learnings to watch videos at different levels. But I appreciate your suggestion. ありがとうございます。
@antonz4266 3 года назад
@@moshimoshi.yusuke it's a bit hard to explain :) What I noticed: 1) videos where authors walk around the city and speak about the things they show on videos ---- are easier to understand than when authors talk on camera at home 2) videos when a native Japanese speaker talks with an intermediate/advanced Japanese speaker are good, because the teacher tries to speak slowly ~~> so the actual intermediate/advanced speaker in the video understands the teacher. (+ subs are good as well) By "experimenting with complexity" , I mean various complexity (easy + middle + hard), so you can get feedback from your viewers (numbers & metrics). So the level with the best numbers would deserve more focus, and will bring more viewers... Thank you!
