That tap driver you have is the is the coolest one i have ever seen ! WOW ! I use carbide tipped cement drills for drillin' hard steel . they always work and they are about a million dollars cheaper than solid carbide machinists drill bits. nice work.
Lmao!!! I swear it is like every time i am trying to to figure out something for a problem i am having, you make a video answering my questions. Love your videos man. You are definitely my favorite RU-vidr/knife maker. Thank you and keep up the awesome work brother!!!
Congratulations Brad, nice piece !!! Could you share us the dimensions of one part of the guard ?? And the size o the used screws ? I would like to make one. Thank you in advance !!
You made me go for it. I´m currently working on learing the craftmenship of being a knifemaker. And all the details, and all the processes that is needed to make a complete knife. There are so many cool aspects of being a knife maker, from forging the hot metal, to grinding small particles to glueing the handle. I´m just in love with the craftmenship. Is it any spesific thing you would recommend a beginner, and also I´m planning on making a youtube channel myself. As I love making videos and editing and such :)
You should just jump into it! Knife making is a rabbit hole of tools and techniques, the best way to learn is alongside an experienced smith, otherwise RU-vid is key! Happy to answer any questions!
So to open the holes and remove the threads on two holes you drilled out the hardened and tempered steel? What type of drill bit did you use? Or was it easier due to the fact that the threads are thinner material? Great video, I will make one soon!
