Could this and the Afghan be done using half double crochet? I know it would change the size. I just love the HDC. Look at me trying to change things. 😊

hahaha. No worries! 😊 So honestly, I don't think the Hdc's would work in place of the Dc, I think it wouldn't give the Ch 1 spaces enough height or width to show the hole. But it's a great question. lol 😊
