Eastern Europeans are are on the rise in boxing and many other sports. Their genetics for sports that involve strength and technique is just top notch.
Lomachenko, Beterbiev, Gasiev, Golovkin, Kovalev, Usyk, Povetkin.... Not even close to boring. Yes Wlad was boring as fk but overall they are very fun to watch.
Geographically its central Europe but Croatia is counted as Balkan Nation and Balkan nations are considered Eastern Europe in relation to the western (Developed) Europe. Eastern Europe is dominated by Slavs and Croats are Slavs, so their genetics are closely related with every other eastern Slavic nation, and thats pretty much the context that i mentioned above.
Genetically Croatians are only around 30-40% Slavs. Croatians are more related to Ilyrians and old Romans who lived there before the arrival of south Slavs in 7th and 8th century.
I just watched his fight vs Joe Joyce and what a great fight that was. Here is the link for anyone who wants to watch it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PuJ3_kLQi7E.html Great prospect and I like his style. Another great addition to the heavyweight division.
Actually saw Hrgovic's fights. And I remember he had his debut against some random giant that's like 6'9'' or something like that. Seems solid, but let's see how he develops.
He's a blue print of Vitali Klitchko style. Not as strong but the same ring IQ like..I suspect he'll get a title shot down the road...Vlad Sirenko is still going to bust all his fellow eastern Europe and up.
That Sean turner who he fought is decent aswell he was much shorter but came to fight hrgovic nearly stopped him aswell, Sean turner is fighting Nathan Gorman on the Tyson fury undercard that is a very good fight
"A Mexican heavyweight" almost sounds like an oxymoron. On another note, heard good things about Hrgovic, he's got the size & pedigree, let's see how he develops.
