The guest stars in this video were amazing. Trump, The Rock. Kevin Spacey, Frances Drake, The Scientologists, The Christians and coughing homeless guy. You went all out on the cast budget this time. Even with all that Chrissy still didn't like it.
Chrissy Get yourself a notebook and make a diary about people you've met, places you've seen, the good and the bad and the shocking situations you've experienced and especially what were your thoughts, your joys, your anxieties and including your son's experiences. Coming to a foreign country where people speak and act differently and have different customs is really quite an experience. I didn't do this myself when I came to NY in 1982 and how I wished I did that and I'm sure that would have brought a smile to me now. Welcome to America!
Great video Tim!!!! It nice to see that L.A. really hasnt changed much. Chrissy handle it pretty good and she looked great. Dale is growing up so fast wow. 2 thumbs up my friends!!!!
Been praying for Chrissy. She is not her normal self. I can only image how hard this transition is for her. It doesn't help that you have tim looking for those moments of discomfort to parade all over youtube for views. Praying God gives Chrissy peace and comfort as she finds herself in a foreign land. May she come to love America and find joy living here raising Dale as an American.
Chrissy is correct about Los Angeles vs Orange County, though I know there are some bad areas in OC as well. I took my Philipina wife on the City Tours open bus tour last year when she first came here also. It was cold! But being new here, I felt somewhat obligated to do it for her and let someone else worry about the driving & parking. We too walked the Hollywood Stars of Fame and my wife had the same glee and happiness that Chrissy has. They see it with a childlike innocence, it is special to see their reactions. She is so cute, and you are a good man for taking care of her and her family.
Chrissy is correct, Hollywood isn't as glamourous as it once was. But your videos are definitely entertaining getting Chrissy's perspective and reaction coming from the province in the Philippines. By all means, Newport in comparison to LA isn't even a fair contest. Maybe if you took her down Sunset to pass Beverly Hills, and the backside of UCLA the perspective would change haha, but then again those are legacy homes. Thanks Tim for taking us along the ride, i'm sure we're all happy to see you as a family sightseeing California.
Grew up in Los Angeles and own homes in Pasadena and Arcadia. I can completely understand why Chrissy would not like it in DTLA. I try to avoid that area as much as possible. I have been to a few Filipino restaurants in Siverlake “Filipino-town” including the one you passed. It was good food, I liked it.
My 1st trip to Hollywood back in 79 was the same experience as Chissy's was.. I was disappointed too because we have this idea in our minds what we think it will be like and its nothing like we imagine it to be...sad but its still good to see how it really is now and I'm sure it was beautiful back in the day. Happy you guys are here now and Chrissy will adjust to living here.!
I lived out Newport Beach area many decades ago never even bothered to drive there. I got out of there went to wine country Northern California. I did have a good time there.
I love your vivid portrayal of downtown L.A. with a sense of foreboding, and I adore Chrissy's genuine innocence. Of course society has its downsides whether it’s in Hollywood Blvd. or in Quiapo Manila. But honestly Tim I love downtown L.A. I was there last April and went to the same Ice Cream shop. Take care guys!❤️
Immigrated to LA from the Philippines. I still visit that place occasionally and still love LA. There are many nice places around the LA area. Tim’s comments about LA and Hollywood are derogatory.
Chrissy is still so pure, not based nothing just taking new things up and not judging anyone or speak bad or think bad, they sure have another attitude Asian ppl...
On Saturday and Sundays there’s a Thai food night market next to there, it’s super good! Would go there and try the octopus. There’s all types of Thai food there
Chrissy has a huge heart and is so kind, you are a lucky man! She is hilarious, people are walking by in T-shirts and she is freezing!! Take her to Chicago or Minnesota! LOL
Great video Tim. Great to have you and your family back. Thank you for calling out all the naysayer vloggers who think the sky is falling here. The Laker game will be an epic experience. Enjoy. Some cool areas to check out on the westside are Marina Del Rey as well as some nice restaurants on Abbot Kinney Blvd in Venice. Keep these videos coming.
Oh hell no! Been there, done that. I'll not ever return to Hollywood. What a shit hole. On a lighter note, I was on Balboa Island today (December 27th) and drove through Newport Beach thinking how nice it would be to have met the two of you.
Take Chrissy and Dale to Legoland. They will both enjoy Legoland. If she wants to go shopping, there are lots of shopping malls in and around Newport Beach. You can go to Fashion Island in Newport Beach, South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, and Irvine Spectrum in Irvine. These are my go to shopping places when I am in my house in Irvine. I also suggest that you take your family here in Las Vegas. Fontainebleau just opened and it is gorgeous. Stay in that hotel and Chrissy will love it there. We stayed one night even though we live in Summerlin and the room is marvelous. Circus-Circus is right next to it and Dale will have fun. Unfortunately, Circus Circus is a bit rundown and should be demolished. You can take Chrissy to Summerlin which has the same vibe as Irvine. Summerlin downtown is awesome and Chrissy wouldn't feel that she is in Las Vegas.
Chrissy you are so intelligent and smart .Tim keeps saying your the girl from the province like you don’t know anything.you will be a qualified nurse soon, speak Tim’s language plus your own ,don’t think he can speak yours . Constantly talks to you like a child .your beginning to outsmart him .Tim you had better watch out ❤
Just a reminder to Chrissy... I believe you can speak Bisaya and bisaya is 40% Spanish words. plato, cebolla, ocho. The spanish will come easy. have fun!
My wife didn't like LA much either. She does, however, love San Francisco. I've met foreigners overseas who visited the US but only visited LA or New York and didn't like the US. I tell them if all they visited was LA or New York, then they really didn't visit the US
Guess Tim’s channel has become a far right conspiracy channel, to bad he’s corrupting a nice Filipina instead of letting her make up her own mind. Good luck to youTim.
@@markdavid4773 I sorta understand what you mean, but it does not influence where I live or my family and friends in any way. But sadly yes, it is part of the US.
@@markdavid4773 Fair enough, I did get that with comment but sure. I think LA is a horrible intro to the US, including Newport Beach. Just my opinion though, to each their own.
Well, Tim Chrissy’s able to see what all of us know about, living in Southern California. Especially Los Angeles, California, it’s not as bright and beautiful as what people think that it is. That is why I live half my life in Arizona now and some of it in California. But not in Los Angeles. Things are not cracked up to what they should be, because of the people who run those cities, but I hope that she had a wonderful time there. Last question were you able to show her the Chinese man theater?
@@HonorDutyPride Good idea. Last year, I spent 2 days in Phoenix. Terrible place. Gas stations are full of druggie panhandlers, nothing but dirt and 120 Degree heat. Furthermore, their influx of people over the last few years is too much for the current infrastructure. How is it possible that the 10 Fwy only has 2 lanes in a city of 1.6 million? Terrible.
4:21 don't be holding on to your cash in public like that. Muggers comes in groups. Take out what you need and leave the rest in your pocket. Even with a big guy like Tim next to you, you can easily be robbed/mugged! This is LA. Keep safe you two and/but enjoy SOCAL!
Definitely a shell shock for anyone visiting LA for the first time. Her honesty is so cool lol specially about the sweets lol. At least they doing Trump start…oooooh yeaaah Visiting up here on SF is a worst situation. Visit beautiful places in California like Parks. Happy Travels
I can relate to chrissy's experience first time i went to LA. It's a mixture of excitement and sadness. There's more to see chrissy. Tim get your wallet ready!!😂😂
90210 actor actor Ian Ziering and his daughter were just attacked by a gang of hooligans right in front of Ghirardelli ice cream shop which is right across from were you were filming at Walk of Fame. It should be all over YB and news channels. My Filipino wife and I had ice cream at that Ghirardelli's in 2018. Back then one could walk around, take photos without any problems. Sadly, we would never go back today.
I'm liking Tim's channel more now than before just for the simple fact that a certain scumbag tried to affect him's life negatively back in the Philippines.. And now Tim has rose and above and turn that into a positive and now he's doing way better for him and his family making positive steps. I love when someone tries to bully/hurt someone and then it ends up helping that victim (Tim) in the long run... It's always good when the good people win in the end... And it's just a matter of time for karma to get the others... Congratulations Tim... And you can see there's actually love in this relationship and happiness together It comes through in these videos it's genuine...
Is Chrissy going to post some thoughts on her channel while you are there? It's always interesting to see things through the eyes of a first time visitor. I lived in LA for a while a long time ago. It's really changed. I wouldn't want to live there now.
If I had a dollar for every time Krissy reminded us; _IT'S COLD_ ,...in the last few videos, I'd be _RICH_ !! 😂👍 _I got a feelin' we ain't in PI anymore, Toto_ !!
Should have bought her an expensive WARM jacket before she left the Philippines and one for the child. The problem would be solved. Every time I fly my gf out of the Philippines I check the weather online and adjust our clothes from hot to cold, etc. This was an easy fix. Pass on the Laker game and use the $242+ ticket money for warmer clothes for the both of them.
I mean orange country is clean, LA it is just a big city south central and west LA are dirty, but there are part in LA that is clean descent but it is still expensive, rather save your money and build a house in the Philippines
@@motivationontop6587 there are lot of affordable states in the US. I think he needs to take care of his mother, that's why he is in the US and for Dales education.
