WOW!! Hoi An has become super touristy, since I was there (Winter late-2007). Looks like a lot of freshly paved streets as well. Some of the streets I went down were just dirt or gravel. Could also be the time of year as well?
Yep, I knew it was going to be more than what all the other expats vlog. But I am not sure what my taxes and homeowners insurance will be on the house we plan to build. So I won't have rent but I will have property taxes and insurance on the house. I am estimating I will have a net of $2,798.51 per month until Social Security kicks in. Then I will be comfy with that additional $1,855.00 in social security...... Thanks for breaking down your expenses.
Why did Chrissy freeze when she touched the tissue case in the hotel bathroom? My Filipino wife does that sometime for she is thinking about who she is going to give all the free hotel bath products to. Also, she always looks for an iron. Filipino woman who are about 5 feet tall always dress good with freshly pressed or ironed cloths. I Could not help laughing at this part. Men over 6 feet like us do not care about this and walk around in cargo shorts and winkled t-shirts.
