If she would have scrolled farther down the DNA overview she would have come to the country break down of her matches, which I personally find more informative than the ethnicity estimates as they are so vague for Europe. Europeans are so intermixed that it's hard for them to give a specific location. But your distant cousins give a hint to where your connections might be. Regardless, great video :-)
50-50 mix, how close is that to the term biracial. Lol. Europeans can trace an ancestor to Charlemagne's France 1500 years ago. Astronesians (Malay, Indonesian,Filipino) have linguistic roots from Taiwan probably 2500 years ago.
@@jejmonmonje1032 not all filipinos claim to have spanish ancestry. Some filipinos do have spanish heritage but not all. You assume that all filipinos claim to have spanish blood when in fact most filipinos don't claim it. Even a typical filipino looking score 14% spanish in his dna. You mock filipinos who have zero spanish blood and made fun of them, but you guys are silent when a filipino got 20%+ iberian in their dna🙄
The MyHeritage results are very disappointing. I recently saw a website including it as 'Top 5 DNA tests for Asians'. I thought it should have been broken down more for the filipino side, especially if her close blood relatives speak Visayan or Ilocano - those are two very different tribes separated by oceans. I was thinking if it was smarter to get three different companies and have my parents and I take them. On the matriarchal linesI know my dad's side has Chinese and my mom's side has Indian and both sides have Spanish names on the patriarchal lines. Thanks for the tips!
upload your results to gedmatch and wegene to better seperate your asian dna because 30 % of filipino dna might be northeast asian but 23 and me lumps all to filipno and east asians
