They, meaning the family that embraces your presence in that place is AWESOME. I am a Filipino myself, but this tradition of hospitality especially in the province is worth to be appreciated very much, because of work, education, and everything in the concept of RAT RACE--THE STANDARD OF THE WEST AND THE FIRST WORLD COUNTRIES is ruining these many values...
Hello there Vanessa and Fernando and glad to see how you're enjoying your stay there at La Union, particularly in San Juan (my Mom's hometown and where i'd usually spend my summer vacation before) and was there only last Oct. i was surprised how that laid back town had progressed into a destination area where alot of beach resorts, hotels, entertainment spots/bars have sprouted. Enjoy yourselves and keep safe always, Vanessa, you have bloomed since you arrived here in PH.

@@HappinessCrossing I spend my bday with my daughter,,we are in church and pray only,,even I have nothing to celebrate my bday,,I am happy I have my daughter with me,,I treat him only,,she was happy I'm happy too,🥰🥰
When I was a kid growing up in the Philippines, I learned a dance just like that in school. It is nostalgic for me to see you guys doing it. Someday soon I will be back to the land of my birth. I have changed over the years. But I know that there is still a Filipino underneath this very American facade. I am so glad that I have retained my Tagalog over the years. Thanks for the video.
you are still up north... there are so many things to eat and go see. I'm from Pangasinan and you gotta visit Hundred Islands and Bolinao.. Try out Bangus or milkfish in Dagupan, and our Calasiao puto (small squishy, soft, tiny steamed rice cakes). farther up north, Ilocos Sur have Vigan, and their Bagnet and empanadas, and still further up is Ilocos Norte with the Bangui windmills!
The wave sucking you back is because that look a lot like you were swimming in a rip. notice the wave from both sides while the middle is calm? that's the undercurrent. So, be very careful. Loving your videos!
@@HappinessCrossing High tide means incoming rough waves. Better to swim when the tide is receding to low tide. It's more fun and the waves are much calmer. High/Low tide happens twice a day. Figure which is when and you'll enjoy your water time even more. :-)
