Dollar Hits is a Filipino street food staple in Los Angeles, specializing in meat skewers that cost $1. Customers can cook pork barbecue and chicken barbecue, along with pork ears, chicken feet, and more on charcoal grills outside the restaurant, located in a nondescript mini-mall in downtown LA's Historic Filipinotown. The three sisters who run Dollar Hits immigrated from Pampanga in the Philippines and have since become local street food legends. Other offerings at Dollar Hits include chicken liver, heart, and intestines, fish and lobster balls, and balut, a fertilized duck egg.

This. Life is about enjoying it with your family, your hobbies, whatever it is you enjoy doing. You shouldn't really care about items like money and jewelries too much because when time comes, it won't be usable anyways. So, spend your time experiencing good times and get good memories because those stays with you forever.

OMG what ! People have asked me how certain "weird" foods can be eaten that most may find odd or not appealing.. and I always tell them "Would you rather eat a great meal with someone you hate? Or just a good meal with someone you love?" That's the answer right there. It's about food but it's also more than that. it's about the nostalgia.. the love.. the community coming together. Because at the end of the day, we don't just want food.. we want an experience.

These are the people that deserve the money. People that actually get up and work for money. Not some fast food restaurant whom employees dont even like working there. People working with passion shows in the result. This goes for everyone who was on this show

I remember my ma and Popps had went to my elementary school here in the states and yelled at the principal because he told my brothers and I we can’t eat Balot or bring it for lunch. Man, after that. All the Asian and islander family let their kids bring traditional food to lunch.
