Join us as Valentina Loving Philippines and I sit down to enjoy a meal and dive into a fun discussion about the differences between Russian, Israeli, and Filipino cuisines! We share insights into the ingredients commonly used in Russian and Israeli kitchens versus those in Filipino cooking, and the unique cooking techniques that make each cuisine special.
We also talk about our home-cooking traditions and why we’ve come to love Filipino food. To top it off, Valentina brought our favorite Filipino dish, chicken adobo, which we enjoyed as part of our meal!
Plus, we touch on the fascinating culinary traditions in some parts of the Philippines, where locals enjoy eating insects.
If you’re a foodie or just curious about cultural cuisine, this video is for you!

Filipinos are now witnessing an intimate and good relationship blossoming between two citizens of VERY RICH countries that are currently locked in war... a russian lady and an israeli man. These personalities show great humilities unimagiinable considering that they came from wealthy and powerful countries, Russia and Israel. Characteristics worthy of emulation.

Filipinos like experimental cooking. Inventing new dishes by mixing different ingredients. Sometimes Filipinos call it as "Pacham" or Pachamba food, tsamba in Tagalog. It means you cooked the nameless dish deliciously by luck😅

It’s just like a survival food but edible some people are just curious so they want to try how does it taste. 😂

We are creative in cooking dishes, whatever we think that is suitable for a dish we just put on the work. Being a filipina myself I don't put sugar on every dish. It's individual preferences I must say. I make spaghetti I don't use sugar or condensed milk while others they use it.

Valentina, you should try Bicolano food....from the Bicol region of the Philippines.. if you ever get a chance to...they have some rich dishes with coconut sauces...and some dishes with a nice level of spicy heat.. not burning hot as indian food, but a enjoyable level of it..... and yes you are correct about Filipinos sticking to recipes...its not often you'll find someone who likes to improvise with whatever ingredients they happen to have

I think Philippines is the only country in South East Asia who don't usually put a lot of spices in cooking. Just like here in Iloilo our basic ingredients are only salt, garlic, onion, ginger, soy sauce and vinegar. We just want to taste the original flavor of meat, fish and vegetables using few spices available.

Philippines food diverse from different regions like in Bicol Region people there like spicy food that is why there is a Bicol Express, Laing etc. Most bloggers went mostly in Visayas or Mindanao that is why food there are mosty seen in video but when you go in Luzon area you can taste different food and delicacies. Not all food are sweet if you go to the restaurant they also cater healthy unsweetened foods.
