Kai hits differently 👌🏼❤️‍🔥

Kai's "Film: Kai," as you discovered, is a sort of teaser/sample of all the songs on Kai's self-titled solo debut album which came out at the end of 2020. He had a hand in writing and composing all of these songs, and he spent more than a year working on the album, which he did all while also promoting nonstop as a member of EXO and SuperM. The mini album contains 6 tracks and, as you just heard, each song is expertly designed to reflect Kai's style as an artist. As I think you know, Kai is considered one of the top two dancers in the entire industry and that isn't just a fan's opinion, but it's a title given to him by his peers and the industry as a whole. (Taemin from SHINee -- a member of another one of SM's legendary groups, who happens to be Kai's best friend since trainee days, and is a fellow member of SuperM -- is the other top dancer.) There is no one in the industry better then Kai and Taemin when it comes to dancers. I think one reason why Kai's form as a dancer is so good is because he originally started out as a jazz and ballet dancer. So he learned form and technique first before any other style of dance. That is why you can see such precision in his dancing. As a child he fell in love with dancing after seeing the Nutcracker and he told his parents that he wanted to do that. So, his whole fondation with dance began with ballet. But what you are seeing is the whole reason why Kai is considered one of the industry's BEST dancers, and he does it better than almost everyone. Kai became a trainee with SM Entertainment when he was about 12 and he debuted as a member of EXO when he was 18, so he has been honing his skills and dedicating himself to become one of the best in the industry for years. He is 28 now, and he has literally been recognized as one of the best of the best. And not only is he an amazing dancer, but in live performances he is singing live while dancing this intensely. As a member of EXO and an SM Entertainment artist, he has trained his whole career to be able to sing live while performing high energy choreography and he can do it for hours and still sound flawless the entire time. All of SM's artists train to build endurance and stamina by doing cardio exercises while singing, so they are able to sing live in concert for more than 3 hours straight and still maintain stable and flawless vocals the entire time. SM is known for having some of the best dancers and singers in the industry. That is just a fact about the type of people it selects to be a part of the company. You can't be an SM artist without having amazing singing and dance skills. So even the company's rappers are unbelievable singers and dancers. That is why the company has gained the reputation as the vocal powerhouse of the industry. When it comes to SM, this is just the skill level we have come to expect. SM is experts at finding and developing the best singers and dancers in Kpop. SM Entertainment is the company that started the Kpop industry with the very first Kpop idol group H.O.T. (Highfive Of Teenager) back in 1996, and they are now one of the largest and most influential entertainment companies in Korea and around the world. SM spares not expense when it comes to their videos, stages or concerts, etc. because they know that whatever they spend they will get it back 10 fold in profits. SM is one of the most innovative and trendsetting companies in Korea. There is only an MV for "Mmmh," the rest of these songs are B-side tracks so they don't have MVs. That is why you don't see any performance for "Mmmh" because you have to watch the MV. If you want to see and hear the full versions of some of these songs, you should look up some of his live performances. As part of his promotions for his album he has also performed several of these songs, such as "Mmmh", "Reason" and "Ride or Die," live. He also has dance practice videos for "Reason" and "Mmmh" that you should check out if you haven't already. Kai is a fashion icon and he is highly sought after by some of he biggest names and brands in fashion to be their model and brand ambassador, etc. He is also considered one of the sexiest Kpop idols, and he is known for his super sexy onstage personality. However, when not on stage he is the complete opposite of what you see here. He is actually kind of shy and innocent and he blushes when you compliment him for his looks or his performance. To understand what is happening in this video, you have to first understand EXO's concept. Everything EXO is involved in, and I literally mean almost everything, is connected in someway to their concept and storyline. EXO's MVs are kind of like a movie -- it's a movie that has been going on for the past 9+ years -- since predebut -- and it has no sign of coming to an end any time soon. The one thing you have to keep in mind with all of EXO's MVs, and I really mean all of them -- including their sub-sub-unit MVs and a majority of the member's solo MVs. And because Baekhyun and Kai are involved, even SuperM's storyline -- is that they are all connected and they all tell a little more of EXO's story. From day one, EXO's concept is that they are aliens from planet EXO and they came to Earth with superpowers on a mission to protect the Tree of Life from the Red Forces. Each of the members has a superpower that is unique to them and almost every MV will have at least one, if not all of them, using their powers. So, each new MV or project from EXO tells another part of the story, and over the years we fans have started to create a timeline and idea of what we think each part of the story is telling us. Kai's EXO superpower is teleportation, so what you see in some of the scenes in this video, is him teleporting. If you analyse all the scenes within Kai's film you would find connections can be made to EXO's storyline and things to do with past EXO MVs and probably even future MVs, as well as SuperM's storyline. Kai is also a member of SuperM, which is the industry's very first Supergroup. SuperM was created by SM Entertainment in collaboration with Capitol Records in the U.S. They debuted in 2019 and they are designed to bring Kpop to the U.S. market. This group features 7 of the best of the best when it comes to dance, vocals, rap and performance in Kpop. The members of SuperM are some of the absolute best from SM's most popular groups, which includes EXO, SHINee, NCT and WayV. SuperM's concept is that they are "The Avengers of Kpop," and the members are supposed to be superhero-like characters who are coming together to form an Avengers-like group to help EXO defeat the evil Red Force. And, like the majority of SM's groups, all of their storylines and concepts intertwin and connect. Also, Kai means opening as in a door or gateway, so as a member of EXO, Kim JongIn (Kai) was given the stage name Kai because, as the center of the group, he is supposed to be the member who connects everyone together and that is why he was given the ability to teleport. Plus, as part of EXO's storyline, it is thought that the members are traveling between dimensions and time periods throughout history in their quest to find the Tree of Life and to fix all the evil and corruption that is thought to be caused by the Red Force. So, it is thought that what you see in this video is Kai traveling between dimensions and across time periods in his search for the other members and the Tree of Life, etc. That is why you see him in so many different locations and scenes in this film. There is also a fan theory that the reason why we see Kai with so many different looks and styles in these scenes is because it's not always Kai that we are seeing. Another part of EXO's storyline is that some of the members have evil alter ego clones that have been created by the Red Force, which were introduced in EXO's "Obsession" MV. So, some theories think that sometimes we are seeing Kai's evil X-EXO clone and other times we are seeing superhero, good EXO Kai. As you can see, EXO's and SM's Universe is extremely complicated and complex, and even the most expert of fans, has trouble following the storyline. The thing is, none of us really know exactly what is happening in the story, it's all just fan theories and educated guesses. SM has never confirmed or denied any of our theories and they have left it completely up to fans to figure out what is happening and to create the story. And oftentimes, because the story is not in order, we discover that, with the introduction of a new MV or performance, everything we thought to be true has been turned on its head and we now have to rethink everything. (We only hope that someday SM will release the book or make a movie that will explain the whole story, so we will know whether any part of our theories were correct.)

EXO KINGS AND LEGENDS OF K-POP FOREVER ETERNA-A FACT THAT HAS NO LONGER NEEDS ANYONE'S APPROVAL. To say that in EXO someone is better and someone is worse is simply IMPOSSIBLE because absolutely every participant is unrealistically talented, this is literally an IDEAL GROUP. Every EXO group and solo album is on a completely different level to this day, even after 10 years of career. I am absolutely not afraid to say that EXO is a real K-POP, now there are countless groups in the fourth generation, but they absolutely do not stand out in any way, trying to focus more and more on the West and POP music, thereby becoming monotonous and disposable. EXO is the only band in the entire K-POP industry, by the way, to this day where literally every member sings amazingly, including rappers and dancers. Minute popularity does not determine the talent and legendarity of the artist, because even after 10 years of his career, EXO songs are literally sung by the whole of Asia, because EXO is the real K-POP. I will never stop admiring this amazing band, even if 40 years pass, let a billion more bands like bts be released, they will never surpass EXO because their music is timeless, this is what defines the legendary artist.
